‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Week Of Aug. 10: Sonny Suspects Julian, Ric Changes Jobs, Dr. Obrecht Discovers Something Shocking

There will be lots of action on the Silas murder mystery this week – as well as the Jake identity issues. Here are some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 10 through August 14.

Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] has a lot on his plate this week. He and Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] think that their son Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] may have killed Silas Clay [Michael Easton] plus Sonny is certain that Julian Jerome [William deVry] is his mob nemesis, but could it be someone else? Sonny gets a disturbing phone call and lies to Carly about his increasing violence.

Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] may step down as DA over his son Franco’s [Roger Howarth] arrest. Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] will also have a job change, but will it be to the other side of the law or to the government? Ric may take over as DA or we may find out he’s the one who’s been attacking Sonny’s mob interests to get revenge against Carly and Sonny. Which will it be? Law or lawlessness?

Pressure continues on two major relationships in Port Charles – Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] and Lulu Spencer [Emma Rylan] as well as Brad Cooper [Parry Shen] and Lucas Jones [Ryan Carnes]. When Brad tries to make things right with Lucas, Lucas will go off on him about keeping awful secrets. Lucas will also want to know what else Brad has been keeping from him.

And Lulu finds herself doubting Dante and wondering if she has feelings for Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] after she reads Dillon’s latest screenplay. Dillon meanwhile is finally getting to know his wayward dad Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] and continues to see Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] who decides she wants to try with Dillon and forget Dante. Also, Lulu and Dante have a guest.

Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] will lose and gain residents at Wyndemere – Val will look for other digs and someone new will set up house there. Will it be Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] out of the hospital, even though she knows Nik tried to kill her – or will it be grandma Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers] who shows up to reveal more info about Jake Spencer [James Nigbor]?

While investigating Franco’s claims about Ava Jerome [Maura West], Dr Liesl Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] makes a stunning find – is it about baby Avery really being Morgan’s kid? Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] and Dante also make a stunning discovery – will the body of Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey Vincent Parise] float up to the docks or is it that they find Ava is back from the dead? Or is it about the mob war?

Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] will step up his romance with Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] based on info he gets from Hayden. Hayden will tell Jake Doe [Billy Miller] very soon that he’s Jason and that Nik and Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] have been keeping the secret for months – despite Nik’s threats to keep quiet. Patrick also seeks out Jake to try and explain why Sam and Liz don’t like each other.

Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Ava have a showdown and Nina finds out that Franco may be on the hook for killing Silas even though he didn’t and that Ava has a photo implicating Nina in his death. Will Nina confess to save Franco even though she also didn’t do the deed? Franco has to agree to keep Ava’s secrets to protect Nina and there’s a whole Gift of the Magi thing going with Franco and Nina.
