‘General Hospital’ (G&H) Spoilers Tues, September 8: Jake Has Jason Memories, Bobbie Suspicious Of Valerie, Jordan Encourages Anna

The wedding action continues on Tuesday – Monday’s show was a rerun centered on Luke. Here are the ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the wedding controversy and Sonny’s shooting on September 8.

First, Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is down, but he’s not out. Lucky for Sonny, Jake Doe [Billy Miller] was nearby with Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and heard gunshots and then TJ Ashford [Tequan Richmond] yelling for help. Jake makes sure Sam is safe and then runs to see what happened. Jake will save Sonny – like he’s done so many times before.

Once Jake gets Sonny and TJ to safety, he’ll have a vivid flashback about a similar situation. Jake shares this memory with Sam who tries to help him figure out what the memory means that he recovered. Meanwhile, everyone waiting at Sonny’s house is still oblivious to the danger the groom is in, but then concerns start to arise.

Sabrina Santiago [Teresa Castillo] ask the guys where their dad is and then Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] gets worried. But Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] isn’t concerned yet. Carly tells her mom Bobbie Spencer [Jaclyn Zeman] that today is the first day of the new life that she and Sonny will have – we’ll see about that.

Carly has a talk with Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] about his mental health and is pleasantly surprised that Morgan is much more receptive to the idea of getting a bipolar diagnosis. Will Morgan tell her about the huge drunken argument he had with his dad that led him to have a near breakdown, but then a breakthrough? Or will Morgan take sole credit for his new-found maturity?

Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] approaches Carly with concern about Sonny’s absence but Carly is sure that Sonny must have run out for a last minute wedding surprise. She suspects that Sonny has gone to pick up Damien Spinelli [Bradford Anderson] at the airport. Maxie tells her if Spinelli was coming to Port Charles, she would have known, but Carly remains happily oblivious.

Also at the Corinthos household, Bobbie notices that something is off about Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi]. Does Valerie already know that she’s pregnant and that’s why she felt so awkward when Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] approached her about how she thinks Valerie might be meant to be with Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] like Lulu was meant to be with Dante?

Valerie is so off her game that Bobbie takes Val home – will Bobbie, as a nurse, recommend the pregnancy symptoms? And, if so, will Val confess or let Bobbie assume it’s Dillon’s baby instead of Dante’s? This situation is one to watch. We know that Valerie and Dante’s dirty sex secret is going to come out soon and will blow up Dante and Lulu’s relationship. Carly is okay with them leaving.

Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] is also recovering memories and trying to work through them, but Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] is roadblocking her at every turn. For every memory Hayden recalls, Nik has a convenient explanation. But Hayden isn’t buying what Nikolas is selling – she tells him that what he’s saying does not align to her recollections.

Hayden presses, Nikolas obfuscates and they go round and round. Hayden won’t let Nikolas get away with this and soon she’s going to recover enough of her memories to remember without his help, so Nik has to decide to come clean, come up with a defense or do something to stop Hayden from talking. Related to Nikolas, Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] and Kyle Sloane [Robb Derringer] have a chat.

Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] encouraged Anna to consider giving a relationship with Sloane a chance, but now that Sloane reveals he did not do as he promised to help Sam and Jake confront Nik about ELQ, will she back away from this notion? One way or the other, Anna and Sloane’s relationship will change. Sloane also reminds Anna they’re keeping the secret of Anna murdering Carlos.
