Adam seems completely lost regarding Phyllis’s conversation and might express that to her soon enough.

It’s Possible That Victor Has Taken Action Against Matt

It’s certainly possible that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has taken action in response to all of Matt’s rule violations.

This wouldn’t be the first instance of Victor targeting Matt and keeping him captive, so that’s something to consider!

However, Victor has been quite occupied recently and might not be involved in Matt’s sudden disappearance at all.

There could be another explanation for Matt’s absence from Phyllis’s life- perhaps he needed some time alone to recharge or is engaged in a secret deal related to his new position.
