The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is under a great deal of pressure and he has begged Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to allow him to go back to work.

Phyllis Summers And Matt Clark Push Nick Newman’s Buttons

Phyllis has turned around and not only hired Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), but she is also in a relationship with him.

Nick knows just how ruthless Matt can be after everything he has done to Nick and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) over the years. Nick still cares about Phyllis and certainly doesn’t want her to come a victim of Matt’s should he go back to his old ways.

Nick is also concerned about his mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who still hasn’t regained her eyesight. Nick wants to be there for his mother who is beginning to push her family away.

In the meantime, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is still having to deal with Matt as well and Nick doesn’t like that. Matt already tried to kill Noah more than once.

Nick Newman Has Been Banned From Newman Enterprises

Victor refuses to allow Nick anywhere near Newman Enterprises and that is frustrating. Nick needs to be able to channel his stress into something and Victor refuses to give him an outlet.

Nick goes to his meetings and still, he finds himself faced with the temptation of drugs every where he goes. Nick could get drugs from several sources any time he wants them.

Nick is the type of man who likes to save people and so far, he’s not saved anyone, including himself. Nick wants to make things easier on his mother.

Nick truly wants to just make Matt disappear and make sure that his family is safe and he can’t even do that because Victor is protecting him. Will Matt’s decision to work with Phyllis put an end to that?

Victor Newman’s Attack On Jack Abbott Is Ridiculous

Victor’s attack on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is also getting ridiculous, but Victor doesn’t seem to be backing down any time soon. Nick knows that this is weighing on his mother and preventing a reunion between this parents.

However, Nick cannot fix this if Victor doesn’t agree to back off. Is it time for Victor to just let this all go and back off of Jack?

Sharon is also not there for Nick as she could be if they were committed to each other. Sharon cares about Nick, but they haven’t managed to reunite because of everything that has happened and Sharon has their own life.

Will all of this stress finally lead to a relapse when it comes to Nick? Will Nick be able to fight back and end this addiction if something doesn’t change his stress level?
