Y&R Spoilers: Mariah Spirals As Devon Pushes For Punishment

The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that Devon Winters (Bryton James) will take actions that causes Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to spiral out of control.

Devon was all for Mariah getting help at once point, however, he doesn’t believe that a stint in a cushy psychiatric faciity is enough.

Devon Winters Files A Petition For Review

Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) was never okay with Mariah’s sentence. However, Devon has filed for a review of Mariah’s plea bargain.

Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) deserves more than that after everything that Mariah put him through. Why should Mariah not face some real consequences for a real crime?

Abby is not happy with Devon doing this behind her back. After all, Abby has been the one pushes for harsher punishments. Now it seems that tables have turned and Abby isn’t so insistant on putting Mariah away.

Mariah is the woman who helped bring Dominic into their lives by being a surrogate and carrying the child to term.

Devon Winters Treats Mariah Copeland Like A Stranger

Devon is acting as though he doesn’t know Mariah at all. However, Mariah had no intention of hurting Dominic, she clearly was not in her right mind.

Mariah had been experiencing Ian Ward (Ray Wise) hallucinations. Will Dominic’s push for a harsher punishment lead to even more Ian sightings thanks to the stress? Mariah originally didn’t want this deal because she believed she deserved to be punished.

If Mariah leans what Devon has done, she may back out of the plea deal and completely mess up everything that has been worked out on her behalf. Devon’s actions could certainly push Mariah over the edge and right back into the pit of despair.

Is Devon Winters Trying To Make Up For His Mistake?

Devon may be having this reaction because he was not outside with Abby and Dominic when he disappeared. Devon is mad at himself for not being there to protect his son and the child was taken because of that.

Devon is having trouble living with that and he wants to make sure that Mariah is not going to be able to do this again.

If Mariah starts seeing Ian again, it is hard to say what she might be convinced to do. Devon could be truly afraid that Mariah will come after Dominic again if she is not punished for what she has done.

However, Mariah could be even harder on herself and could end up making a huge mistake if she goes off the deep end again. Will Devon back down before it is too late?
