Y&R Preview Week Of April 27: Drug Collapse, Matt’s Lethal Gloat, Chelsea’s Discovery

Y&R Preview Week Of April 27: Drug Collapse, Matt’s Lethal GloatThe Young and the Restless preview for the week of April 27 has been released. It shows Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) collapsing.

Meanwhile, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) gloats to the man’s loved ones as he watches on a surveillance monitor. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Driving Danger

Let’s start from the beginning. First up, we have Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Fans know that Nick is behind the wheel and Adam is in the passenger seat. Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) did as they demanded, so now Adam and Nick are on a rescue mission.

However, as they are driving, Nick is looking worse and worse. Adam tells Nick that it’s obvious he needs it, so to do what he needs to do.

Then, it appears the car is pulled over, most likely so Nick can feed his addiction.

At some point, Adam ends up in the driver’s seat. Once Nick’s addiction is fed, he might be more agreeable to Adam taking over the wheel.

However, Adam can’t worry about Nick’s addiction right now. They have to handle it later and lives are on the line.

Addiction & Collapse

Then, the preview clip for next week shows a surveillance monitor showing Adam and Nick getting out of the car.  Nick suddenly collapses on the ground as Adam rushes over to help. While Matt watches on the monitor, he gloats about Nick having gotten to the tainted bag of drugs.

Chelsea Lawson’s Discovery

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of April 27 reveal that the preview clip also shows Adam at the hotel room. The man is panicked and out of breath. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) wants to know where Nick is. However, Adam struggles to tell her what’s going on.

It would be just like Matt to demand Nick in exchange for Noah and Sharon’s release. That would put Adam in an impossible situation.

Of course, it’s also possible that Nick makes it just long enough to save Noah and Sharon. Just because he collapses doesn’t mean he’s gone. Maybe he gets up just long enough to take down Matt.

However, Nick’s addiction will have to be dealt with after all of this is over. Depending on what kind of “bonus” drugs Nick was given, and what Matt tainted them with, it could be a complicated recovery, so stay tuned.
