GH Spoilers: Will Valentin’s Brennan Setup Lead To Catastrophe?

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might be correct in thinking that Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) scheme is a bad idea.

Carly is not pleased with Valentin’s decision to involve Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in misleading Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), particularly since this could lead to a scenario that might send Valentin back to prison.

Valentin Has A Plan To Trap Brennan

Valentin has a plan to create the illusion that he frequents a specific meeting place where he checks in with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).

His objective is to ensure that Nina relays this information, allowing Brennan to arrive at this designated spot in search of Valentin.

Once there, Valentin aims to craft a scenario where it appears that Brennan nearly apprehended him.

If all goes according to Valentin’s wishes, he hopes to stage a close encounter that will ultimately allow him to slip away from Brennan’s grasp. However, as is often the case on ABC’s GH, things rarely unfold as intended!

Carly Is Worried Valentin Will Be Caught For Real, Leaving Her Alone

Carly is understandably worried about the chance that Valentin could actually be caught, which would leave her without the support of her ally and the protection he has been assuring her of. There are certainly numerous ways in which Valentin’s scheme could spiral into chaos.

Carly highlighted one potential outcome by suggesting that Valentin might get caught, but that is far from the only avenue leading to disaster.

It’s quite possible that Carly will find it hard to resist getting involved, especially if she learns something from Brennan that could jeopardize Valentin’s chances of evading capture. One can easily picture Carly rushing to Valentin’s aid, only to find herself exposed in the process.

This Could Be When Brennan Finds Out Carly’s Teamed Up With Valentin-In More Ways Than One!

This could very well be the moment when Brennan discovers that Carly has formed an alliance with Valentin and that her feelings for him have grown deeper. Alternatively, there’s a chance that Charlotte might attempt to come to Valentin’s aid instead.

It’s possible that Charlotte doesn’t fully grasp the complexities of Valentin’s situation and could unwittingly involve herself in the unfolding drama, which could lead to frightening consequences.

Depending on how the events unfold, both Carly and Charlotte might find themselves in peril. Given that Valentin is a wanted fugitive, there’s a real possibility that gunfire could erupt if Brennan and any backup he may have decide to take extreme measures.
