Survivor Star Joins Big Brother Season 28 Cast

The Big Brother 28 season premiere is just hours away and CBS has finally revealed this summer’s cast of players.  The new Big Bro cast is a hodgepodge of semi famous people and new players.

After the initial cast reveal, Julie Chen explained that there would be more players being added as the premiere gets closer.  A few hours later, two more players were revealed.  A Big Brother alum and a Survivor alum!

Survivor fans were thrilled when it was revealed that a Season 50 alum was on the new Big Brother cast list.  Rick Devens will be moving in to the Big Brother house on Thursday July 9, 2026 during the live premiere.

Rick Devens Joins Big Brother 28

Rick Devens made his reality TV debut in Survivor: Edge of Extinction in 2019, he was a fan fave but finished in fourth place that season.

Devens then returned to the franchise this year and competed in Survivor 50: In The Hands Of The Fans, and he finished in seventh place.

According to Big Brother spoilers, Devens is not the only former reality TV star joining the 14 new players.  Big Brother and Amazing Race alum Angela Murray was also added to the cast list after the reveal on YouTube.

Big Brother Cast Keeps Growing

Plus, multiple websites are reporting that there is a second Survivor alum on the cast that STILL hasn’t been revealed yet.

Julie Chen teased that there will be another cast member revealed during the premiere, that could be who she was referring to.

So far no Survivor player has ever won Big Brother, but Devens could be the first!  Alum Cirie Fields did compete in Big Brother 25, but he finished in fifth place.  What do you think of this summer’s cast so far?
