Sister Wives spoilers reveal that even Christine Brown Woolley’s children were uncomfortable when she and David Woolley first got together.
The kids were not only shocked by their public displays of affection, but the public was too after watching Christine for years with Kody Brown.
Now David has apparently joked about polygamy. Will Christine agree to that?
Key Takeaways
- Christine and David are working through issues in their marriage
- The couple admits they married after knowing each other only a short time
- David’s hall pass joke takes an unexpected polygamy twist
- Christine makes it clear she has no interest in returning to plural marriage
- Some fans are questioning whether the show can succeed without Kody and Robyn
Christine Brown Woolley And David Woolley’s Marriage Is Young
In the previews for Season 21, David and Christine are attending therapy sessions because they are trying to work through some issues in their marriage.
Christine and David said they knew they wanted to be with each other, and that is why they married so quickly.
Now they are pointing out that they have only known each other for about four years, and they are working on that.
As previously reported, Christine and David’s marriage troubles are part of the major changes coming in Season 21.
Christine tends to approach marriage with David the same way she did with Kody, and that isn’t working out very well.
Christine isn’t accustomed to having a man around to do things for her or living with her full-time, and this sometimes causes issues in her marriage to David.
David refers to her as two different people because sometimes she is his wife, and sometimes she is Christine Brown.
David Woolley And Christine Brown Woolley Play “Let’s Get Deep”
During a game of “Let’s Get Deep,” David pulls the question, “If you could do anything today without worrying about consequences, what would you choose?”
Christine says, “I would want to go on a trip, right now, vacation.”
David wasn’t thinking anywhere near this. David suggested a “hall pass,” and Elizabeth Hurley was mentioned.
David then said, “If I said, ‘Hey, I like Elizabeth Hurley,’ and you say, ‘I’m in with you,’ that’s not a hall pass; that’s like polygamy.”
Christine was quick to refuse, saying she would never return to that life, no matter who her sister wife would be.
Of course, Christine has said this from day one of their relationship and even before they actually got together.
In fact, Christine and David’s intimate question-and-answer game is already raising eyebrows as they continue getting to know each other better.
Fans Actually Miss The “It” Couple
Fans thought they would be happy not to have to see Kody Brown and Robyn Brown or be exposed to their monogamous relationship.
However, production is trying to make this season interesting by focusing on the OG three, and some people are just not happy with what they are seeing.
Some fans truly believe that this game with David and Christine is just cringeworthy.
Of course, Christine and David’s whirlwind romance led to a fairy-tale wedding, but married life isn’t always as easy as the honeymoon stage.
Would the show be better with Kody and Robyn as the villains than not having them on the show at all?
Can the OG three keep fans interested enough to keep ratings where they need to be?
Should the show have simply wrapped up when Kody and Robyn decided to stop filming and just ended with the apology tour?
Editor’s Take
I have to laugh at David bringing up polygamy with Christine! After everything she went through with Kody, does anyone really believe she would want another sister wife? I certainly don’t!
I think Christine and David are discovering that falling in love and actually living together are two very different things. They rushed into marriage, and now they’re learning how to make it work. That doesn’t necessarily mean their marriage is in trouble, but I can understand why some fans find their conversations uncomfortable to watch.
What interests me even more is whether Sister Wives can survive without Kody and Robyn. I know plenty of viewers couldn’t wait to see them go, but let’s face it, those two provided a lot of the drama! Will Christine, Janelle, and Meri be enough to keep everyone watching? I’m curious to see how this plays out.
