In the Royal Family, Princess Anne gets plenty of kudos for standing for duty, grit, and having a no-nonsense attitude. In fact, for decades, the Princess Royal seemed like the backbone of the monarchy, quietly getting on with the job. People love her because she just shows up with no fuss and drama. But, something seems very worrying for her right now. Read on for more details.

A Professional Royal

On Thursday in his Heart of London segment of his Daily News Headlines vlog, Neil Sean described Anne as “hardworking” and “brilliant.” Then, he opined that for those working alongside her, folks really need to be on their “metal.”

Continuing, he described how the sister of King Charles is there to do a job, and she does it well. But, the royal commentator also said that underneath the perception of a “fierce nature” there’s a caring side to her that the public rarely sees.

Prince Andrew Worries Anne

Prince Andrew, of course, brought many headaches to the royal family, and Princess Anne is concerned about it. But, she cares for his mental well-being as well. While most of the world has zero sympathy for the former Duke of York, Anne reportedly looks at the situation from a different angle.

According to the royal expert, the current situation with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is more than just about him being “shunted off” to a new house in Sandringham. And, it seems that Anne feels that he’s being written out of his own life. Allegedly, she isn’t pushing for him to return to public royal duties, but she feels gravely concerned.

A Meeting With The King?

You might have heard that Princess Anne wants a meeting with King Charles and Prince William. So far, Andrew lost his titles, his home, all his standing, and is distanced from his relatives. So, sources claim that she wants to know just how much further the King and his heir, William want to go with her brother’s punishment.

Right now, everyone knows that royal family faces a lot of struggles. King Charles has cancer issues, as does William’s wife, Princess Catherine. Then, there’s the constant “heartbreak and hassle” brought on by Prince Harry. So from her point of view, Anne allegedly feels that it’s time to start looking out for their own.

Andrew Isn’t Blameless

Obviously, Andrew’s not blameless for the way he handled the Epstein fallout. In fact, Sean said that he’s been a “buffoon” and “ridiculously stupid” in many ways. However, Anne and Andrew have historically had a close relationship.

Reportedly, she told sources that she believes “things will come out right in the end.” However, that might be some time away as Andrew deals with his current situation.

Actually, she’s not alone with her concern about her brother’s state of mind. In November last year, News International wrote about a very similar concern about Andrew that Princess Catherine had.

Viewers React

In the comments section, some viewers liked that the Princess Royal cares about her family. Meanwhile others expressed their admiration for her. One of them penned, “Thank you Princess Anne for taking care of your family.”

Here are a few more responses from the discussion:

  • …Anne is everything Royalty should be…What a Queen she would have made!
  • Princess Royal Princess Anne, Catherine Princess of Wales and Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh are the 3 honest hard-working important, loyal Royal amazing ladies.
  • She’s smart, hard working, no nonsense, compassionate, & kind.

Obviously, not everyone agreed that Andrew deserved any protection. One follower opined, “We will never know the depth of his crimes and depravity. He was protected because he was the queen’s son. He should be thankful and go quietly.”
