Everyone in the world is currently talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s quickly fading Hollywood stardom and the dwindling opportunities open to them every day that goes by.
So of course there’s got to be news that Harry is traveling to the UK, not only with Meghan Markle, but with the little Sussex kids in tow. According to a source, Prince William feels this is a trap if he ever saw one.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Hoping For A Royal Reunion
Prince George has passed his entrance exams and is heading to Eton, and apparently, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are returning to the UK for the first time in years.
Of course, no one can expect the kids to make this trip if there’s not even one family member to receive them. So Harry feels that his family should roll out the red carpet to receive him, his wife and the kids.
While it’s not been confirmed whether the King will be making the time to see them, it’s said that he has helped with their security arrangements.
However, the person unlikely to honor this visit, even if the kids do arrive with them, is good ol’ reliable Prince William.
Apart from attending the Invictus Games countdown event, Harry will also take part in several charitable organizations, where he retains his patronage roles, like WellChild and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Speaking on this to GB News, Richard Fitzwilliams opined that Harry’s plans extend further than the planned charitable trips.
“They want the King to attend the opening of the Invictus Games in Birmingham next year, perhaps to actually open it, very possibly with Queen Camilla attending too,” he said.
“This will obviously present problems,” the royal expert noted, adding, “The King will naturally want to see his grandchildren in July and may well see them all.”
Given that Charles the III is Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, he might feel it his duty to attend a major military event like Invictus Games, regardless of who the host is, or what complications may arise from it.
“It’s a trap of sorts, but of course it’s a legitimate one. It is, in reality, a gigantic publicity stunt.”
In Fitzwilliams’ opinion, Prince William is the one royal most likely to keep his distance from both Harry and any event that carries his presence.
Per an insider, the Prince will not so soon forget the massive betrayal dealt by Harry, who, in his defense, was probably only after some entertainment moolah.
