‎Prince Harry And Meghan Seeing Red Over Royal Family’s Double Standards

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly don’t quite understand the reason the Royal Family keeps keeping that sweet security package just slightly out of their reach, whilst beefing up Pippa Middleton’s security.

Pippa Middleton, for those in the back, is the younger sister of the Princess of Wales, who is married to an affluential man in her own right.

One of the reasons Harry has kept his family from visiting the UK is because he won’t be able to guarantee them that round-the-clock taxpayer funded security.

So one might understand why he’d feel a bit upset over somebody else getting what he’s spent years desperately fighting for.

Recently, Pippa, 42, and her hedge fund manager husband James Matthews, 50, had the security around their lavish $32 million Barton court estate beefed up. The sprawling 145 acres Berkshire estate serves as their primary residence and where they raise their three children.

In a bid to protect his family, Matthews installed large electric security gates across a driveway. This move has disgruntled local walkers, to the extent he had to address the reason and the need for such a measure.

“There are implications for my family, due to their high public profile, which means there is a need for a higher level of security than would otherwise be the case if the circumstances were different,” Matthews said.

“Therefore, to improve security for my family, before we moved in, I arranged for an electric security gate to be erected on the drive.”

Maintaining that the gates have been upgraded and remain closed to the public, he said, “Unfortunately there has been a continued need to enhance security.”

While his argument made sense, the people of Montecito found much to be dissatisfied about.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Infuriated Over Double Standards

Prince Harry has fought tooth and nail for his security to be reinstalled by RAVEC – the governmental body that oversees the security arrangements for the Royal Family and prominent public figures.

This is a fight he is yet to give up on, despite being denied a win over multiple rounds.

“Harry and Meghan have no issue with Pippa and James being allowed to have this gate – if they feel they need protection, they should have it,” the source told RadarOnline.

“What infuriates Meghan and Harry is the double standard.”

The source went on to claim that Harry’s anger comes down to a basic problem: the special treatment. “He (Harry) has been treated as though he’s totally out of bounds and shouldn’t dare ask for so-called special treatment,” the source claimed.

“Yet, the palace reaction to Pippa and James seemingly asking for special treatment has been the opposite. No one is raising a fuss about them taking advantage.”
