Prince Harry vs. Princess Catherine: A Security Contrast

Prince Harry and Princess Catherine were recently compared when it comes to security. Of course, by now, you know that Harry wants his security in the UK funded by the taxpayer. Well, some outlets claim he got it, and others mention that he might soon get the final stamp of approval.

Armed Security On The Cards

As far as The Mail on Sunday is concerned, full-armed security for Prince Harry and his family will happen. That’s despite him walking away from his duties, and relocating to the USA as a private citizen. This week, Royal Commentator Neil Sean, chatted about it on his Daily News Headlines vlog on YouTube. 

Sean suggested that giving Harry an expensive security unit seems an “absolute farce.” For a start, he wondered why Prince William’s younger brother even needs it.

Driving home his point, he talked about Princess Catherine. Notably, she’d recently been to the Royal Opera House without any huge fuss. Interestingly, few folks even knew she was there until she shared about it.

Harry Could Be Quieter Like Catherine?

Perhaps the royal analyst has a point because Catherine really is one of the most famous faces in the world. So, if she can just get on quietly going about her life, then why can’t her brother-in-law? Actually, he opined that Prince Harry makes a song and dance about his movements, thus wanting folks to pay huge money for his safety.

Naturally, the inference can be taken that he makes himself a target because he wants everyone to know he’s out there “slaying dragons.”

Of course, by comparing Princess Catherine’s quiet security, it highlights just how irritated the more conservative royal family fans are. If Catherine can keep things on the lowdown, why can’t Harry and Meghan?

The commentator slammed Harry’s personal life. In his opinion, the husband of Meghan Markle seems to be floundering around, and generally his life looks like “a wreck.” And, he’s not the first commentator to hint that perhaps Meghan Markle might be the one pushing for more security behind the scenes.

Viewers Respond

In the comments section on YouTube, many followers agreed that it seems as if the big media announcements put out by Prince Harry’s PR team only create a less secure environment. And therefore, he should not have any security paid for by others.

One critic opined, “Harry is not important enough for all that security. I would imagine that is why they are fighting for it; to look important when they are not.”
