A huge flurry of news arrived on February 10 about the true crime involving Nancy Guthrie. Firstly, the FBI revealed footage of an asked intruder on the property. Plus, the news arrived that SWAT went into Tucson and carried out checks.

Many locals in the area where Nancy lived were interviewed. And then, someone was apparently detained at a traffic stop. Well, new breaking news came about the actual arrest. Read on for the details.

The Breaking News

Just after midnight on February 1, actually the wee hours of February 2, Ashleigh Banfield did a super-last breaking news update. It came on her Drop Dead Serious podcast on YouTube. In it, she explained that “Brian Entin…got some unbelievable breaking news.”

Explaining more, she said that he followed up on “a person being detained from Rio Rico, who lives about a dozen miles or so from the Mexican border.”

She said that although folks already heard about a traffic stop and detention of someone, “Brian Entin raced down to Rio Rico.” There, he ascertained that the “person [from the traffic stop] was detained from inside the home.”

Brian Interviewed The Mother-In-Law

Brian spoke with the mother-in-law, who told him that “the cops broke down the door, put her son-in-law in cuffs, and took all of their phones.” Next, Ashleigh Banfield aired the video about Nancy Guthrie’s suspect that Brian Entin had made.

In the video, Brian reported “from outside the house.” Then, he introduced “Josefina,” who owns the house. Looking upset, she confirmed that the suspect is her son-in-law. Then, she started relating her version of events.

The Arerested Man Was Doing Door Dash

She said that he, her daughter, and the kids were doing “DoorDash.” And, she confirmed they ended up stopped at the traffic stop. When she arrived home, she discovered that her son-in-law had been taken away.

Additionally, she confirmed that the door was busted down and the cops entered the home. At the time that she arrived home, the police wouldn’t explain anything to her. And, they still searched the home as Brian interviewed her.

The Cops & A Search Warrant

Josefina demanded to see “a search warrant” but they told her “we don’t need a search warrant.” Additionally, she complained that they needlessly broke a door and just took the suspect away.

Interestingly, she also told Brian that she wasn’t “familiar with the Nancy Guthrie case,” other than what she saw on social media.

Phones Taken & Suspect’s Name

Then, she seemed absolutely shocked because the police also took her phone with them. They even took her “grandkids’ phone.” Next, Brian showed her the photos of the intruder captured on video outside Nancy Guthrie’s home. When Josefina saw them, she said that his “eyes” didn’t look like her son-in-law “at all.”

Then, she confirmed that her son-in-law’s name is Carlos. Next, she confirmed that his job in Tucson involves “delivery to houses.” She mentioned UPS and other services. Then she confirmed the children and her daughter were not detained.

But she doesn’t know where the cops took him. Notably, she also said that Carlos doesn’t own “a backpack.” And, he was allegedly at home when Nancy Guthrie went missing. In her podcast, Ashleigh noted that they have yet to confirm the person arrested was officially tied to the Nancy Guthrie case.
