Joseph Duggar’s Alleged Victim Speaks Out – Says She Won’t “Hide” Anymore

Joseph Duggar’s young victim wants her day in court. It might have been years since Joseph Duggar allegedly molested the then-9-year-old.

However, now that she’s finally found the courage to come forward, nothing the Duggars do will scare her back into the shadows.

Source Shares Insight Into Joseph Duggar’s Alleged Victim’s Mental State Amid Case Publicity

Due to the high profile nature of the defendant, this case has been blown out of the waters.

The publicity started coming in immediately Joseph was arrested on March 19 and charged with four counts of child molestation and false imprisonment. Two weeks later, he was released on a $600,000 bail.

Fortunately, even with all the publicity associated with the case, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the victim is handling it rather well.

“It took a lot for her to come forward, but she is not scared,” the source said. “She is strong. She doesn’t want to hide.”

At present, the ‘Counting On’ star is pleading not guilty to counts of lewd and lascivious behavior involving molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older.

“[Kendra’s parents] Christina and Paul Caldwell are not hiding the fact that Joseph’s victim is [close to the Caldwell family],” the insider shared. “Christina has told other members of their church, but she is not sure she wants to talk about it so publicly. That is what she is struggling with, but she is not hiding it.”

“When [the alleged sexual assault] happened, Joseph was on vacation with Kendra and her family,” the insider added. “No other Duggar [family members] were there. … As years passed, [the alleged victim] understood more and got the courage to tell her family. Just like the police report says, when she told her family, they acted on it.”

Joseph’s arrest comes after his older brother Josh was arrested for possession of child pornography. The eldest Duggar is currently serving time in prison, with his release set for 2032.

Joseph, 31, is married to Kendra, 27, and shares four children with her. Kendra is also charged with four counts of child endangerment and false imprisonment.
