Joseph Duggar Returns To Court For Florida Molestation Charges

19 Kids And Counting star Joseph Duggar has a busy summer of court appearances ahead of him.

In March 2026, Jim Bob and Michelle’s third-oldest son was arrested and charged with child molestation from an incident that happened in Florida during a family vacation.

The reality TV star is due back in court next month, keep reading for all the details.

Joseph Duggar’s Next Court Date

Joseph Duggar has hired a legal team and is currently fighting a high-profile child sex crime case.

The 19 Kids And Counting star was accused of groping a nine year old girl and forcing her to sit on his lap several times while they were on a family vacation in Florida.  The incident happened five years ago, and the victim and her family just came forward.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, “Duggar, 31, was arrested on child molestation charges in March by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Duggar is accused of repeatedly asking a girl to sit on his lap during a 2020 family vacation in Panama City and allegedly [grazing] her genitals. He has pleaded not guilty.”

The disgraced TLC star is due back in court in Florida on July 14th to kick off pretrial motions.  It’s unclear if Joseph Duggar will be allowed to attend the court case virtually, or if he will have to return to Florida to be seen in front of the judge.

Kendra Duggar’s Legal Woes

Joseph Duggar isn’t the only member of the family that is due back in court this summer.  He and his wife Kendra Duggar also were arrested in Arkansas on unrelated charges, two days after his Florida arrest made news.

Kendra and Joseph were both charged with four counts of  endangering the welfare of a minor and an additional four counts of unlawful imprisonment.
