Jinger and Joy-Anna Duggar have apparently lived through many a-turbulent times, from postnatal depression to the loss of a stillborn child.
However, the scandals that have been enveloping the Duggar family, especially ever since the eldest Josh Duggar was sentenced on child pornography charges, might take the cake.

I don’t know if there’s a truer phrase than the one that goes, “life is full of ups and downs.” Life is never a smooth ride, regardless of your social status or location. There’s always something or other ready to creep out at any one time and take you completely by surprise.
For sisters Jinger and Joy-Anna Duggar, this scenario comes in the way of family problems.
Speaking on this, Joy-Anna, 28, said, “We’ve had wave after wave of just sickening, horrible things happening. And it really just sends me into a spiral. And those have been really hard seasons. And I feel like I’m coming out of that finally with this last run we went through of family stuff. But it just feels like, you know, sin is so dark and so heavy, and it’s hard to find true joy.”
Though Joy-Anna opted not to go into details regarding what family troubles she’s referring to, it wouldn’t take a genius to decipher what she means by “sickening, horrible things happening.”
Currently, the Duggars have one brother behind bars for possessing child pornography materials. They may soon have another – Joseph Duggar – joining Josh for sexually harassing a minor.
As one of the five then-underaged girls Josh Duggar molested, Jinger has been pretty open about the experience. In 2021, the reality TV star talked about how she felt when the scandal first hit the press.
“Intimate details about our lives were splashed across a magazine page and all over the Internet for anyone and everyone to read. I felt shell-shocked, as if a bomb had exploded,” Jinger told US Weekly at the time.
“Walking through that season, it was one of the hardest times of our lives. … Our family was way closer because of that, and in spite of that, I guess you’d say.”
