“The Next Pro” will feature several familiar faces from Dancing With The Stars. But, celebrities won’t be dancing with pro partners.
Instead, up-and-coming dancers will be competing for the chance to be a pro dancer on the next season of DWTS.
After over two decades on ABC, getting cast as a pro dancer on Dancing With The Stars is a BIG deal and huge accomplishment.
Whitney Carson, Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Val Chmerkovskiy, and Peta Murgatroyd are just a few examples of dancers who became household names and catapulted their careers after competing on Dancing With The Stars.
Who Will Be On DWTS The Next Pro
According to DWTS spoilers, fans are going to love the cast of fan faves that ABC put together for the spinoff.
The Next Pro will be hosted by Mirror Ball Trophy Award winner Robert Irwin. Mark Ballas and his mother Shirley Ballas have been cast as judges for the first season.
In an official press release, ABC revealed the names of the all new dancers that will be competing for a spot on Dancing With The Stars. Benjamin Castro (25, Miami, FL), Allen Genkin (35, Philadelphia, PA), Selena Hamilton (21, Norwalk, CA), Natalie Jolley (22, American Fork, UT), Erik Linder (26, Everett, WA), Nina Mayster (28, Ukraine), Jake Monreal (22, Miami, FL), Briar Nolet (27, Oakville, ON, Canada), AJ Pritchard (31, Stoke-on-Trent, England), Tristen Sanders (Murfreesboro, TN), Stephani Sosa (26, Provo, UT), Adele Zaikman (24, Israel).
