General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could be setting herself up for trouble.
Willow allowed Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to talk her into pursuing a libel suit against Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), but that’s risky considering Willow is actually guilty!
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had some alarm bells going off inside her head when she realized Willow was headed down this road.
Although Britt advised Willow to just make a public statement denying the accusations and be done with it, that’s not what Willow is choosing to do.
Instead, Willow plans on taking Lulu down along with The Invader.
Since Chase views Willow as some sweet angel who deserves the world, his mentality is clearly influencing her own.
Willow’s Lawsuit Could Become A Huge Mistake
Willow knows she’s guilty of drugging Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with paralytic doses for months, but she obviously doesn’t think she’s a bad person.
There’s always some justification for Willow’s wrongdoings and all the drama she causes.
Willow wants to undo any damage to her reputation and make sure this doesn’t affect custody of the kids, but she may make things even worse.
If this case actually goes to court, things could get ugly for Willow!
Ric Lansing Could Make Willow Regret Everything
All signs point to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) becoming Lulu’s lawyer, so he may fight hard against Willow and drag her name through the mud.
As Soap Opera Spy previously reported, Chase pushed Willow to fight back, convinced that she deserved to defend her reputation.
However, Willow will go into this lawsuit thinking she’s about to clear her name, but she may end up regretting the whole thing.
Willow might have a shocking courtroom exposure ahead, depending on how things play out.
Between witness testimony and any other evidence on the horizon, Willow’s crimes could be confirmed in front of the judge and the rest of the courtroom.
If that’s how it plays out, Lulu could be vindicated and get the chance to watch Willow’s downfall instead.
GH fans know that would certainly be a sweet victory for Lulu under the circumstances.
Michael’s Evidence Could Destroy Willow’s Defense
Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) signed affidavits from Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) could come into play at some point.
After all, proving Willow was the one who shot Drew would give her a motive for the paralytic mess.
Meanwhile, Soap Opera Spy has already explored how Willow’s lawsuit could expose the secrets she’s trying to hide.
Lulu also has evidence that could strengthen her defense, even if Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) continues denying the statements he previously made to her.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers suggest Willow may ultimately realize she’s overplayed her hand, so stick with us for any horrifying news headed her way.
Annemarie’s Take
I think Willow has completely lost her mind if she believes suing Lulu is going to make her problems disappear!
Chase is so blinded by his feelings for Willow that he can’t see what’s right in front of him. Worse yet, he’s encouraging her to take a legal gamble that could expose everything she’s done.
And if Ric gets involved, Willow may discover that clearing her name isn’t nearly as easy as she thinks.
Do you think Willow’s lawsuit will backfire and expose her crimes, or will she somehow escape the consequences again?
