GH Spoilers: Serena Brings Out Cody’s Bad Side – Former Con Man About To Backslide?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will finally meet his half-sister Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) and they’ll spend some time together, and the siblings will get to know each other better.

But will the daughter of Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Cody’s mother Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson) raised by Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) be a bad influence on him?

Cody’s Father Is Mac Scorpio

Cody’s father is Mac Scorpio, (John J. York) so you’d think he’d be more a law and order guy, but Cody used to be a con man.

While neither Scott nor Dominique were cons as such, Lucy’s pulled off a few, and Scott definitely has the abilities!

Serena will visit Cody at the apartment he has in the Quartermaine stables, and they’ll find they have things in common besides their late mother.

Although Serena has a penchant for saving dolphins, she’ll surely like Outback and Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) horses.

Serena is willing to pull low-grade cons-like for instance, when Lucy wanted her to seduce Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) Deception shares out of him-could she make Cody backslide?

Between His Acceptance In Mac’s Family And Molly Lansing-Davis’ Influence, Cody Stopped The Cons

Between his acceptance in Mac’s family and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) influence, Cody stopped the cons-it’s been several years since he’s done anything remotely illegal.

He was especially influenced by James West, (Gary James Fuller) wanting to be a good example for the little guy, and was relieved to be forgiven before he moved to Australia with his family.

But while Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are still in town, the rest of James’ family isn’t. So Cody is glad to get to know his maternal sister, and hope she will stick around-every indication is that she will.

Cody will keep secrets for someone though, if he can see a  reason for them-Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) real reason for “being away” for instance-he didn’t want Molly to know, and Cody’s not telling!

Cody Is Older Than Serena, Perhaps He Can Be A Good Influence On Her!

Of the two of them, Cody is older than Serena, perhaps he can be a good influence on her; for sure they’ll have a mutual hatred of Rex Stanton (Wayne Northrop).

Cody may have not known him but he’s certainly heard of him-he was his great-uncle, and he’s probably learned more of his mother’s history from Mac.

Rex was after Dominique’s money, and also after Serena-he kidnapped her when she was a child; Cody didn’t know his mother but learned she gave him away to protect him from Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) later.

Cody and Serena will have a lot to discuss, and he’ll probably wonder if she knows he decked her father when they first met! But from every indication, they should relate well to each other, especially with their mutual love for animals.
