General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, May 8 tease Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) flabbergasted, while “Nathan West” AKA Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) puts on the pressure. Also, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) takes extreme measures!

Ric Keeps His Promises
At the Jerome Art Gallery, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) keeps his promises as he tells Ava Jerome, (Maura West) “you asked for plenty, you’ll get it!”
Has Ric made some kind of huge art order, or is there something else going on? Ric and Ava had a previous conversation where she’d interrupted him with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and they were both suspicious!
Ava had told him that she had passed Ric’s message along to someone, and “he” was willing to close the deal that night.
Does this have to do with art, or is “he” someone who has something else entirely to sell?
Dante’s Flabbergasted
At the Port Charles Police Commissioner’s office, Dante is flabbergasted as he’s talking to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Per the weekly promo, Liz will tell Dante she thinks she knows who really pulled the trigger of the gun used to shoot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Dante says they’ve all been lying about what actually went down that night!
Understandably, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took the hit and covered for Dante’s son, one would think Dante would be happy.
But Cullum himself wasn’t buying it, because he was facing Jason when he was shot!
“Nathan” Puts On The Pressure
In the meantime, at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, “Nathan” puts on the pressure-he keeps insisting she has to send Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) away tonight.
They have had some major words about the issue, but he’s afraid Cullum will figure it out and kill Rocco.
Lulu still doesn’t look very happy, and soon Dante’s going to have a barrage of questions.
Not surprisingly, Lulu and “Nathan” will likely continue to argue about how to protect Rocco.
Lulu may remind her boyfriend that Rocco’s father would become suspicious if she sent Rocco somewhere!
Jack Gets Information
In the meantime, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) gets some information, as he asks someone, “You have something on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for me?
More than likely he’s talking to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who’d got a call from Valentin as she was in the midst of giving Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) his shot.
Jack got all the information on Valentin he could handle when he broke into Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house and found out they were lovers!
Perhaps Cullum is right that Jack is incompetent, doesn’t he realize he’s walking into another trap?

Carly And Valentin Argue
In the meantime, Carly and Valentin are arguing in her attic, as she demands he find a solution that doesn’t involve “her”!
Valentin had told Carly she wasn’t going to like what he was going to do, but he’s already involved Nina.
Carly doesn’t like Nina and Nina doesn’t like Carly, but if she can help bring down Jack, that means she’s useful.
It’s understandable that Carly may feel like she can’t trust Nina, after the Sonny in Nixon Falls debacle.
But Valentin, who’s also an ex-husband of Nina’s, knows her a lot better than Carly does!
Sonny Takes Extreme Measures!
Finally, Sonny has something for Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) to do and he’s taking extreme measures! He tells Ethan that once it starts, there’s no stopping.
Is he starting the takedown of Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) that Ethan has been chomping at the bit to start?
Ethan can almost taste blood at the thought of ending the warlord who’s caused his family and friends so much pain.
Things are getting serious, and the evil “businessman” must be dealt with. What exactly will he tell Ethan to do regarding these extreme measures?
