General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 7, tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets alarming news, while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) confronts her captor. Elsewhere, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) is confronted by Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), who has been released from the hospital.

Carly Spencer’s Alarming News
It looks like Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly are in her attic during the General Hospital promo for Thursday, May 7. It sounds like she gets alarming news; she tells him, “I have to go find Josslyn right now!” He looks worried … will he go with her to search, or will he have something else to do? He’ll also make contact with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Carly may have gotten a call from Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) looking for Josslyn, who never showed up at the Savoy and never came back home. Perhaps Carly and Valentin are under the assumption that she’s gone off and done something rogue as a WSB agent again.
Josslyn Jacks Stares Death In The Face
In the cell in the compound underneath Wyndemere Castle, likely at the edge of the catacombs, Josslyn confronts her captor, or one of them! Considering Cullum and Cassius Faison AKA “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) are both elsewhere, might the person on the other side of the two-way mirror be Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) or Pascal (Marc Forget)?
She doesn’t appear to know yet that this is the same place where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was held captive for so many months, but most likely, she will soon. She addresses the person on the other side of the two-way mirror, demanding, “You’re planning on killing me, aren’t you?”
Jack Brennan Is Confronted
In what looks like a doctor’s office in General Hospital, as Jack is confronted by Cullum. In fact, Cullum says, “Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not going anywhere! Valentin had threatened that if Jack didn’t help him and Carly, he’d turn him into Cullum, who’d use him for a patsy! There is a distinct possibility now that Cullum could use Jack for a patsy for either Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) murder, which Cullum committed, or Josslyn’s disappearance.
If Sidwell, Cassius, and Pascal go by the chain of command, they’ve notified Cullum, who’s actually the boss of all three of them, that Josslyn is WSB and “handled”. It sounds like Jack may be in big trouble, and it’s trouble coming down from the top!
Britt Westbourne Lashes Out
In the meantime, Cassius is still at General Hospital, after going to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) about his injuries inflicted in the showdown with Josslyn when he kidnapped her. Isaiah had a liver patient he had to attend to, and asked Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to take over his patient, and gave her Cassius’ MRI scans.
Britt was blindsided when she entered the room to find Cassius, and now she’s giving him a big dressing down! She’s pretty upset as she tells him he can’t be naïve enough to believe “that”! Perhaps she’s referring to no one in the hospital finding out he’s not Nathan West, even though Isaiah went along with putting him down as “John Doe”?

Ric Lansing Cautions Ava Jerome
During the General Hospital preview for Thursday, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is cautioning Ava Jerome (Maura West) about some orders he’s obviously given her, their having made some sort of a deal. He cautions her very strictly, “You’ll follow this through no matter what!” But is this deal something that will affect Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a negative manner, as Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) supposed?
The tone of the conversation implies that the task is very serious, and Ava’s having second thoughts about completing it. Is Ethan right, or are Ric and Ava trying to do the same thing Ethan wants to do-taking down Sidwell, if not taking him out!
Sonny Corinthos’ Walls Are Up
Lastly, Sonny continues talking to Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about his suspicions of Ric, after catching him in a lie. He’s convinced Ric has returned to his old ways, if he ever reformed at all!
He’s worried that Ric is playing nice with anything but nice motivations, even though Justine played devil’s advocate and presented a different hypothesis. Now he tells Justine that Ric is getting ready to stab him in the back! Will she be able to talk him out of this idea, considering she may be doing the same thing?
