General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could turn the tables on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when it comes to the doctor’s hospital return.

There’s no love lost between these two characters, so let’s unpack this summer storyline and talk about what could happen next.

Britt Westbourne’s Assault

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Britt assaulted Liz on her way out of Port Charles.

The nurse was onto Britt skipping town with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and tried to stop her; however, Britt ambushed Liz and locked her in a closet so she and the teen boy could escape.

Summer previews suggest that Britt will eventually return to Port Charles and face legal ramifications for her “partnership” with WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Cassius Faison aka ‘Fake Nathan West’ (Ryan Paevey).

It won’t be easy for Britt to get her job back at the hospital, especially in light of what she did to Liz. Still, that doesn’t mean there’s no way Britt could go back to her doctor’s duties if the right person stood up for her.

Elizabeth Baldwin Blocks A Return

General Hospital summer spoilers also suggest that Liz will use her position and credibility to influence a change in leadership and enjoy a chance to turn the tables on Britt. Could Liz dig her heels about Britt returning to her position at the hospital?

Liz is well respected at the hospital, and as the head nurse, she has a ton of clout. While Liz might not be scarred from what Britt did to her before she skipped town, could the nurse play it up to ensure the good doctor doesn’t get her job back?

While Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has seen another side to Britt, she and Elizabeth have clashed significantly since she returned in the fall of 2025.

Liz may feel as if Britt is too unstable to work at the hospital and use her influence with Terry Randolf (Cassandra James) to ensure that Britt doesn’t ease back into PC life, considering all her actions.
