True crime and UFO interest grows daily with the disappearance of retired Air Force Major General McCasland and others. When a man with a background in black-budget programs vanishes into thin air, and stays vanished, speculation only becomes more intense. Read on for new updates.
Body-Cam Footage Emerges
For the first time, something solid turned up regarding McCasland’s disappearance.
According to newly surfaced audio, an unnamed female colleague called in just hours after McCasland went missing on February 27.
The caller claimed she “had dinner” with McCasland the night before he vanished. Of particular interest, was a little nugget about members of the “US Space Force” also being in attendance.
The General Seemed Out Of Character?
Even more troubling than who ate dinner, the caller noted that the 68-year-old former commander seemed “out of character.” They described him as unusually “spacey and quiet” during the meeting.
That does tie in with what a handyman reportedly said on the day General McCasland vanished. But there are some contradictions.
Some Notable Contradictions
Going deeper into that alleged meeting, the story contradicts initial theories. Remember, in early public appeals, his wife Susan suggested he only maintained “very commonly held clearances” since his retirement.
So, why was the anonymous colleague warning police that McCasland held “highly classified,” sensitive clearances?
Will it mean that federal investigators look at two distinct, conflicting profiles of General McCasland in his final days?
Medical Problems
Medical records, dispatch logs and police interviews reveal McCasland was under a doctor’s care for “severe anxiety,” lack of sleep, and an unexplained 20-pound weight loss. However, no offical report clarified an exact diagnosis.
Meanwhile, his wife claimed he seemed terrified of his brain “deteriorating.” Theories arose that he disappeared, perhaps into self-harm because he didn’t want to live that way.
Certainly, the alleged high-level contact doesn’t fit the description of man overwhelmed by mental decline.
More Involved Than Known?
The host, Hena Doba pointed out that “Space Force” operates out of the “Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque.”
From early days of the disappearance, true crime and UFO followers learned that General McCasland was high up in the command of the facility.
Does the meet-up suggest then, that he remained far more involved in defense operations than his family realized?
The Patterns
On Thursday, when NewsNation covered the development on YouTube, Daily Mail deputy science editor, Chris Melore made some interesting comments. But he did caution that the caller’s validity hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The panel also reminded folks that McCasland’s disappearance is only one of many people. Others dead or missing include nuclear research facility staff, government contractors, and more.
Many of the individuals disappeared in remarkably similar ways. Monica Reza comes to mind. Meanwhile, a common pattern emerges with many of them leaving behind all trackable devices.
As you probably know by now, there is an investigation going on. However, there’s no news about whether the disappearances are an ongoing national security breach or a string of coincidences.
Viewers React
The latest body-cam update naturally brought a lot of discussion in the comments section. One viewer wrote:
His wife is an aerospace PhD and a former Colonel – she knows exactly how the military handles sensitive situations. Her calm isn’t lack of caring, it’s deep professional training kicking in.
Here are a few more responses from the discussion that followed:
- Space Force knows exactly what happened to the General.
- Medical conditions alone don’t cause people to vanish into thin air without a trace.
- He’s an asset that needed to be secured, plain and simple.
- It is absolutely no coincidence these people went missing as soon as congress starting meeting up with the whistleblowers of these programs. It was at the exact same time
What are your thoughts? Do you believe the body-cam recording only raises even more questions?
