Eugene Horsch Search: Pix Of 2 Missing Women Found In Philadelphia Home

Detectives in Philadelphia searched the home of Eugene Horsch on West Chew Avenue in the Olney neighborhood and they found pictures and videos on a hard drive that showed two women who vanished years ago.

A Potential Horror Story?

On Thursday’s Law&Crime Network podcast, host Chris Stewart asked, “What was going on inside this house in Philadelphia?”

He added that “it appears a story of horror may have been unfolding inside the walls of this place.” Stewart also said that “Horsch has not been charged with murder.” However,iti’s not clear if that will change.

The Indictment

According to 6ABC News, “Horsch…was indicted on federal charges…for being a convicted felon in possession of guns, including one with an obliterated serial number, as well as being in possession of fake DEA and FBI credentials.”

CNN gave more background to the case and how he ended up arrested. The outlet cited court documents explaining that a ranger approached a black BMW parked in a restricted area.

The report then explained how the case expanded, noting, “the car would ultimately lead to a sprawling investigation involving drugs, guns, mysterious chemicals, a missing woman and local and federal investigators turning a Philadelphia home inside out.”

The Press Conference

During the podcast, Chris Stewart showed a clip of Philadelphia Police Inspector Ray Evers who addressed the discovery on the hard drive.

He said, “While searching the first hard drive, homicide detectives found the images and video of what appeared to be two deceased females.”

Ray Evers declined to describe the footage in detail, telling the media, “I’m not going to get into exactly what I saw. It’s dark. It’s real dark.”

The Missing Women

The women were identified as Maribel Fresses and Gabriella Amarando. Fresses disappeared in 2018, while Amarando had been missing since 2012.

Crime Watchers Net confirmed that “Detectives believe two missing women were alive in some of those videos, but they were later shown dead.”

Stewart explained that detectives are trying to determine if these women “entered this home but never came out.” He also said that law enforcement is working to “unpeel the secrets” of Eugene Horsch while he remains in custody.

No Bodies Were Found

So far, the police have not located any bodies at the property. According to official statements cited by news outlets, homicide detectives are currently working with medical examiners to review the digital files and build a timeline of events.

Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said, “This is not like a TV show where you go to the commercial, come back and everything’s done.”
