Canceled Boroughs Star Denis O’Hare Wants To “Stick It To Netflix”

The Boroughs debuted on Netflix exactly one month ago, and the streaming app has already announced the series’ cancellation.
If you found us because you were searching for The Boroughs Season 2, don’t bother because there won’t be any more new episodes of the sci-fi series.
The Boroughs cancellation even took the cast and crew by surprise, in fact Denis O’Hare took to social media to rant about it.
The Boroughs Cast Member Disappointed
Denis O’Hare played the part of Wally Baker on The Boroughs, one of the main characters at the retirement community.
If Denis looks familiar then you probably recognize him from hit shows like True Blood, American Horror Story (appeared in several seasons), Law & Order, and The Good Wife.
The actor took to Instagram and shared a video expressing how upset he was the Netflix pulled the plug on the new series.
Denis O’Hare began in his post, “So, it’s Saturday, and I’m just thinking about the fact that Netflix canceled The Boroughs and how really bummed I am because it was such a great show. It was such a great show and people really seem to love it,”

The Boroughs star went on to talk about the series and the high-hopes he and his co-stars had for it.
Although Netflix didn’t give an exact reason for the cancellation, various reports indicate that they pulled the plug because the creators behind Boroughs (the Duffy Brothers of Stranger Things) left and took their projects to Paramount+.
Denis O’Hare added before he ended his Instagram post, “And vote for The Boroughs for Best Series and, you know, stick it to Netflix and let them know that they made a mistake, you know, because I think that would be sweet revenge.”
