Big Brother 28 Recap: House United On First Eviction Of The Season

Big Brother Season 28 is in full swing! The first eviction of the season took place on the Thursday, July 16 episode, so read on below to hear everything that happened and who ended up leaving the Big Brother House.

Big Brother’s Blockbuster Challenge

As Mallory won the Power of Veto during the Wednesday, July 15 episode, Ashley was put on the block as her replacement.

The BB Blockbuster challenge took place on July 16, as Ashley, along with Taylor and Yash, competed to earn a chance to stay in the house.

A photo competition took place where various pics were displayed on a number of screens in the backyard of the other guests in the house.

They were in different locations and different groupings as Ashley, Yash, and Taylor had to determine the houseguest who was in the most photos.

Ashley and Taylor’s answer as the houseguest in most of the pics was Devens, while Yash’s answer was Mallory.

When all was said and done, Yash was correct and won the challenge, ensuring his safety this week.

Who Was Evicted?

Unfortunately, Ashley sealed her own fate when it came to being evicted. Dee, Barrett, Drew, Angela, and Devens realized Ashley had no alliances, and they decided (before the Blockbuster challenge) to save her by bringing her into their alliance as an ‘extra’ vote.

Ashley then ran to the others in the house, revealing this in hopes that she could ‘secure’ more votes to stay in the Big Brother house. Really bad move, as Drew found this out and leaked it to the others.

The ‘crossover’ alliance’s main target was Yash, so when he won the Blockbuster challenge, he secured Ashley’s eviction since almost everyone wanted Taylor to stick around. At the end of the day, the vote was unanimous, 14-0 to evict Ashley from Big Brother.

As such, Ashley Trail goes down in history as the very first houseguest from Big Brother, Season 28, to leave the house.
