Y&R Spoilers: Why is Abby Invited To Dumas’ Bash, The Mystery Deepens!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that the party is underway in Nice, France, with plenty of GC players like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) ready to pay to play.

But what price is too much once everyone learns that it’s Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) behind the infamous Aristotle Dumas?

Abby doesn’t understand why she’s there, she’s just a nepo baby. But Dumas asked about her specifically in the June 19 episode, and wasn’t pleased that she will be late to arrive due to a sick baby. Let’s unlock what could be going on here!

What’s Going on with Abby?

As for Phyllis, she begged and pleaded to go to the bash so she can wow Dumas with her fabulous agenda.

Could Phyllis be a wildcard that turns the tables on Dumas? Definitely maybe!

Then there’s Adam who wants answers as to who he’s up against in the business world. Billy does know a little about Dumas but spoilers tease that things will escalate between them in an unexpected development.

There is no denying that together with the roller coaster ride of mystery, the fabulous sets and setting are working to make this an irresistible plot for the ages. There is a giant, opulent maze, and equally lavish train accommodations.

Having such luxury at their fingertips may help the characters as they ease into their discomfort about being pawns in Dumas’ game.

Y&R’s production designer, David Hoffman spoke about the gorgeous sets, foreshadowing the fact that something ominous is afoot amid the distracting scenery.

Who Dies a Bad Death in Nice?

We do know that the great trip is not without its irritations. For one thing, Dumas led his guests to believe he would be there to greet them but now has sent word that he is delayed out of the country.

That’s a lie, as we’ve seen him spying on his guests, and his man servant was in his presence at one point. It’s clear that Dumas is playing a game, but does he intend it to be a deadly one, or is a tragic death a complete accident?
