Erin Andrews Shades Dancing With The Stars For Firing Her

Dancing With The Stars viewers were blindsided a few years ago when ABC axed longtime hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron right before Season 29. 

But, no one was as shocked as Erin herself.  As a matter of fact, the former DWTS host recently spoke out about getting fired in 2019.  Keep reading to see what she had to say, warning TV spoilers ahead…

Erin Andrews has been licking her wounds since she was fired in 2019 after ten seasons on the Dancing With The Stars stage.  The sports broadcaster recently announced that she is getting back in front of the cameras and has signed on to host a new TV show on FOX. 

Andrews confessed that she was stressed about going back to work and it will be her first time filming since she left DWTS.  

Erin Andrews Still Bitter Over DWTS Exit

On an episode of Andrews’ podcast she explained, “I am excited to get back into that world. Obviously, it’s been a minute since I got the boot from “Dancing With the Stars” with Tom Bergeron. I affectionately love to tell that story. My agent is like, ‘Don’t say that, you weren’t fired, you were replaced.’ I was fired. I was fired.”

The former Dancing With The Stars host went on to plug her new TV show “99 To Beat” and even added a little more shade towards her former ABC gig.  When discussing the new game competition that will air on FOX, Andrew joked “Super pumped I don’t have to wear a ballroom gown. I’m very excited about that.”

Dancing With The Stars Was Unfair To Erin Andrews

It’s safe to say that Erin Andrews is still a little bitter about her exit from DWTS, in her defense a lot of fans think Erin and Tom were treated unfairly by ABC.

However, there’s a lot of buzz about the new show that Erin will be hosting on FOX and she could have another hit on her hands with “99 To Beat.”
