‘Y&R’ Spoilers: Chadam Wedding Bells–Adam Proposes at Nikki’s Birthday Party?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could steal the thunder at the upcoming Newman party.

How would Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) feel about having her birthday party hijacked by Adam proposing to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a party planner named Pietro (Jai Rodriguez) busy arranging a big bash and the pro debuts on May 28. Overall fans will see Pietro for three more episodes so it sounds like this is a meaty storyline.

Soaps excel at making festive bashes unpredictably wild, and we suspect that Nikki’s bash will be a classic soapilicious comedy of errors and fun surprises.

Adam Upstages Nikki?

Maybe Adam’s marriage proposal will be one of the surprises? He is pleased that Adam and Chelsea are living as a family at the ranch and this means he will be ecstatic if they recommit.

Although he didn’t always feel this way, he now wants Chelsea and Adam to get serious and be together for eternity.

Will Victor presume to push Adam to pop the question? He could, since he has no qualms about interfering in his family’s lives.

Will Victor Push Adam?

Adam is impulsive so with a little encouragement he could run out, buy a ring, and pop the question at the Newman clan gathering.

Nikki’s birthday would be a shared event then, but Victor may tell Adam that the time is right and there is no better place to do it than in front of family and friends.

Victor will likely argue that two celebrations are better than one if Adam objects to stealing the limelight.

Will Chelsea Say Yes?

Of course Chelsea needs to say yes and be comfortable with the spectacle of a very public marriage proposal. But, Chadam have been down this road before so its not like they are shy teens.

We can totes see Chelsea being swept up in the excitement of a romantic proposal, and blurting out a thousand yeses!

Then again, what are the chances that Adam puts Chelsea on the spot and she is blown away? In that case Connor Newman would step up and urge his mom to say yes.
