B&B Spoilers: When Nick Returns, Will Brooke Give The Boot To Ridge?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal  Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) is making a comeback for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). This could lead her to finally move on from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Brooke’s Still Holding Onto “Destiny” Too Tightly

Currently, Brooke is clinging to the hope that she hasn’t lost Ridge to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) for good.

This hope is partly fueled by Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who encourages Brooke that she can win Ridge back, just as he believes he can win back Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

However, Brooke still believes that Ridge is her one true love and that they will eventually reunite.

She is expressing this to Taylor and trying to convince herself, but Taylor isn’t buying it. Brooke was recently caught trying to get Ridge’s attention during work hours, showing off in her bra and panties.

Brooke Just Embarrassed Herself

Taylor criticized Brooke for appearing desperate and overly eager. However, it was clear that she felt a bit embarrassed herself. In a moment of frustration, she yelled out.

Meanwhile, Brooke seemed disheartened that her plan had failed and that Ridge didn’t happen to walk in on her. It was obvious what Brooke had in mind, and Taylor knew it-it was the same old thing she’d been doing for decades.

Nick’s On The Way-Will Brooke Forget About Ridge Forever?

It turns out that Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) is making his way back to LA, and his arrival could significantly impact Brooke’s life.

While she often claims that Ridge is her true destiny, he isn’t the only man who has captured her heart, shared her bed, or slipped a wedding ring onto her finger.

For those who are newer viewers you might not be aware that Brooke was once deeply in love with and married to Ridge’s half-brother, Nick, many years ago.

Despite her recurring returns to Ridge, Brooke has also found herself drawn back to Nick on several occasions. That’s right-half-brother; Ridge is not really a Forrester, he’s a Marone.

Stephanie Had A Fling Back In The Day

If you’re not familiar with the name Nick, let me give you a brief overview. Ridge’s mother, Stephanie Forrester (portrayed by Susan Flannery), once had a romantic involvement with Massimo Marone (Joseph Mascolo). 

He was also famous for his role as Stefano DiMera on Days of Our Lives; Massimo is not only Nick’s father but also Ridge’s biological dad.

However, Stephanie deceived Eric Forrester ( John McCook) regarding her relationship with Massimo, leading Eric to believe he was Ridge’s biological father all along.

Family Secrets Spilled

Eric, naturally, raised Ridge as if he were his own son, and while none of them initially realized the truth about Massimo, Stephanie seemed to have an inkling.

The revelation that Massimo was Ridge’s biological father came to light when Ridge was an adult; after an accident required him to have a blood transfusion. This was the moment when the truth about Ridge and Eric was unveiled.

At one point, when Brooke was expecting RJ Forrester (played by Joshua Hoffman), she found herself uncertain about whether Nick or Ridge was the father, as she was romantically involved with both.

The situation was complicated by a history of rivalry and tension between Nick and Ridge, fueled by their shared connection to Massimo.

Now Brooke Is Single

Now, Brooke finds herself single, while Nick is making his way back to LA. He’s bound to provide a welcome distraction for her as she navigates her feelings for Ridge and the ongoing conflict with Taylor over their indecisive ex-husband.

If you need a refresher, Nick made a brief return in 2022 during a dream sequence with Brooke, donning a Navy uniform; it’s been a while—three years, to be exact. For those who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Nick, you’re in for a delightful surprise.

He’s portrayed by the incredibly charming Jack Wagner, known for his role as Frisco Jones on General Hospital and his work on When Calls the Heart.

Jack’s Back For A Long Arc

Jack Wagner is said to be staying on Bold and the Beautiful for an extended storyline. Nick makes an unexpected visit to LA, catching Brooke off guard just when she’s feeling particularly down after losing Ridge, who has turned down her repeated requests to return.

This situation is expected to awaken Brooke’s lingering emotions for Nick, Ridge’s brother.

According to spoilers about this storyline, Brooke finds solace in Nick’s presence, which provides her with the stability she urgently needs at this moment in her life.

Their chemistry reignites, and Brooke may find a path to happiness with this familiar face from her past, as Nick still harbors feelings for her. 

Ridge Finds Himself Jealous?

 However, witnessing Brooke’s reconnection with Nick could alter Ridge’s perspective; Nick and Taylor might be taken aback if Ridge starts to feel envious. He firmly believes that his relationship with Brooke is over due to her betrayal, and he claims that Taylor is his future.

However, this could shift if Ridge witnesses Brooke moving on with someone else, particularly if that someone is his brother Nick.

If Ridge becomes consumed by jealousy, it’s likely that Taylor will also feel frustrated by the situation. Longtime viewers of B&B may remember that Nick and Taylor were once married.

Keeping It In The Family?

In fact, Nick has been married three times to Brooke’s daughter, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), which adds a layer of complexity to their intertwined relationships.

If Ridge were to return to Brooke and leave Taylor behind out of jealousy for Nick, it would certainly stir up drama. I would love to see Brooke finally tell Ridge to get lost and choose the other brother after all this time of indecision.

However, if that happens on B & B, I really hope Brooke and Taylor don’t end up clashing over Nick instead of Ridge. At least that would introduce a new love triangle, which would be a refreshing change from the tired dynamic we’ve witnessed with Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor.
