Y&R Spoilers: Cane Obtains Mariah Blackmail Material, Uses It To End Tessa Marriage

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), AKA Artistole Dumas, may discover Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) secret.

Mariah has been careful not to reveal the dark truth to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) or Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). But near-stranger Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could get the ugly truth out of her.

Mariah’s In Bad Emotional Shape

The Y&R viewers have watched as Mariah is in clear emotional pain. She distanced herself from Tessa and her family, going as far as to leave the family home for time alone. It all started when she went on a business trip and had drinks with a stranger.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Mariah and Tessa will discuss their future during the week of July 7.

Mariah tries to apologize without telling her wife the details of what has her feeling out of sorts. Without answers to explain her behavior, Tessa doesn’t see a future for them. She considers walking away and making the separation permanent.

What Could Have Happened?

Social media users believe Mariah is covering up criminal acts. They think that Mariah is trying to protect her family. In the flashbacks, CBS revealed Mariah had drinks with a stranger, and it looked pretty friendly.

She could have invited him to her room and snapped. Perhaps, she hallucinated and believed the stranger was Ian Ward (Ray Wise), as her business trip was around the time of Ian’s death.

At first, many believed she could have cheated on Tessa, but this seems to be something worse.

Murder is definitely worse than infidelity. But as Tessa told Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Grazedei), she can and will forgive Mariah for anything, except not being honest with her. They have been through so much together.

Mariah Leans On Holden

Cane told Holden to get closer to Mariah. He didn’t give him any instructions on any sort of plan, just to gain her trust.

Y&R spoilers say that Holden will find Mariah at Chancellor Park in a delicate state. He pushes her to open up to him about what’s on her mind. Perhaps, she cannot take it anymore and finally tell someone about this awful secret.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say if Mariah does tell Holden her secret, he surely will run to Cane and spill the scoop.

Cane will then use that secret to control Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), knowing they will do anything to protect Mariah, including getting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) involved to keep Sharon’s daughter safe.
