Prince Harry Tried To Heal Rift With Prince William and Princess Kate

We’re still getting news on Prince Harry’s attempts to heal the rift that’s been existing between him and several members of his family for years now.

Harry might have been the first person to push the button that completely detonated his relationship with his family, but if sources are to be believed, he’s also the one working hard to see the broken relationship repaired.

Prince Harry Stayed Close To Prince William and Princess Kate’s Adelaide Cottage For This Sweet Reason

In May, Prince Harry returned to the UK to attend appeal hearings regarding the court case he brought against the Home Office for stripping him of his 24/7 taxpayer funded police protection.

Even though it must have been a time that was filled with emotional intensity and anxiety, Harry decided to focus his energy on healing his fractured relationship with his family. What did he do? He reportedly extended an olive branch.

According to a friend of the Prince’s, while he may not have seen William and Kate, or even his father King Charles, during the last visit, he did try to send them a message that he’s now willing to reopen communications.

Per the express, Harry stayed at the Coworth Park hotel in Ascot for the entirety of the visit. Now you may not see the significance of his decision to choose a hotel that is “a short drive from William and Kate’s residence Adelaide Cottage,” but a friend of his does.

It is worth noting that Prince Harry and Prince William also stayed in the five-star hotel the night before Harry would walk down the aisle with Meghan Markle.

However, even though his hotel was a stone-throw away from the Waleses’ family home, Harry still opted to spend time “with former school and Army friends.”

Per a so-called “business associate” of Harry, the Duke made William and Kate aware of his location via “security services.”

An insider told the outlet, “Harry really is keen to try to salvage some kind of relationship or even reopen dialogue.” The source continued, “And some of us saw Harry[‘s hotel] being so close to his brother[‘s home] as a gesture of saying, ‘Hey I am here, close by…what about us trying to work things out?'”

The insider also claimed that Harry’s current drive is to “somehow make peace and return to talking terms” with his family.
