Was Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan Pushed Aside for Victoria Beckham?

Meghan Markle’s ‘With Love, Meghan’ may be plummeting into the deep dark void in terms of viewing numbers, but according to sources, she’s convinced Netflix’s poor rollout of the series is the cause.

Take her peer Victoria Beckham for example, who received two premieres to support her Netflix documentary ‘Victoria Beckham,’ and you might start to see her point of view.

Nevertheless, Meghan’s cooking show was not entirely neglected, as she was booked for high profile interviews that coincided with the releases of both seasons of ‘With Love, Meghan.’

Meghan Markle “Shaken” By Victoria Beckham’s Netflix Show’s Success

Like Meghan Markle, Victoria Beckham is a celebrity-turned-entrepreneur, and now with both ladies each having a Netflix show under their belt, their similarities ever so slightly broadens.

However, regardless of Meghan spotting a royal title, her show was still no match for ‘Victoria Beckham’s’ brilliance and audience reception.

The former Spice Girl was hailed for reinventing herself and having the foresight to take her business from a deficit to where it is today. In short, people loved her show for its heart and authenticity.

This is, of course, what Meghan struggles to portray on her show. Sadly, instead of coming off as authentic to viewers, she has been ripped for being too egotistical.

Weighing in on Meghan’s reaction to ‘Victoria Beckham’s’ shining success, a Hollywood insider said: “Meghan’s shaken by this. Victoria has achieved exactly what she aspired to – moving seamlessly from celebrity to credible business figure. Meghan’s been trying to establish herself as a cultural powerhouse, but Victoria’s documentary has completely overshadowed her. It stings, no question about it.”

An entertainment executive also opined: “Victoria’s documentary is being hailed as sophisticated, authentic, and beautifully produced. Netflix views her as a true success story – a celebrity who’s evolved effortlessly into a respected designer and businesswoman. Meghan’s still trying to find her footing, and that contrast is what’s fueling her jealousy.”
