Simon Cowell Posts Rare Photos Of Son, Eric

Simon Cowell took to social media on May 11 and shared some photos of his son, Eric. That rarely happens, and fans of America’s Got Talent (AGT) last saw a reel of him with Eric in the pool in December last year. Before that, they saw him on the set with his dad in April 2024.

Eric Is His Dad’s Mini-Me

When the Instagram post arrived of Simon out and about with Eric, the 11-year-old son of Lauren Silverman, looked so much like his dad that AGT fans were shocked. Simon posted three pictures. One of them showed him standing next to his boy, which revealed how big he’s getting.

The caption relating to that picture above said, “Even more love.” But another photo showed Eric with their pup, and his famous dad wasn’t in the picture. He wrote in the caption, “I Love.”

The final picture by the former boss of One Direction showed both of them loving their tired-looking furbaby. The caption of that one said, “It was a long walk.”

Fans Comments On The Mini-Me Pics

Obviously, fans of Simon Cowell were happy to see photos of his boy. And, it struck them how similar they look these days. One follower penned, “Looks just like a mini you Simon.” 

Others couldn’t get over how tall he’s grown. A fan wrote, “He’s almost as tall as you! You’re such a good dad Simon. It’s obvious to everyone!”

Eric Saved Simon’s Life?

In June last year, Entertainment Weekly reported that Simon revealed how low his life was after his mom passed away. Speaking with the Diary of a CEO podcast, he said how keenly he felt the loss because he’d lost everyone he ever loved. However, he got around to talking about his boy. He said, “[Eric] changed everything in my life. It made me happy again.”
