Prince Harry’s Reaction To Meghan Markle Princess Diana Criticisms Revealed

Let’s just say that what was supposed to be a great fashion weekend for Meghan Markle turned into a bloody nightmare when she made a big PR blunder.

You see, after the whole exhilarating Balenciaga show had ended, the Duchess headed back to her hotel.

Along the way, she decided to switch on her Instagram influencer mode once more and thought to share some tidbits of her latest travel. Problem is, she made a video passing right next to the Pont d’Alma tunnel, where Princess Diana tragically lost her life.

So far, the move has been deemed tactless and insensitive. But what does Prince Harry – the husband – think of this.

Prince Harry Reportedly “Horrified” Over Meghan Markle’s Latest PR Disaster

Since Meghan Markle posted the apparently triggering video to her Instagram account, there’s been multiple criticisms and speculations about it.

The thing is, even if it came from a place of genuine mistake, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believes it would have impacted her relationship with Harry negatively.

“I suspect Harry will be horrified and extremely angry, because the video links to the most traumatic period of his life,” he revealed to OK! “He would be aghast, because even though it wasn’t intentional, it was a very bad mistake.”

“Meghan simply cannot afford to behave like that, because of who she is and the fact she has made herself into a brand. Her airily filming part of Paris, while it wasn’t intended to offend anybody and was clearly a mistake, was grossly insensitive, and these mistakes hold weight.”

However, Harry’s true pain is likely to come from his inability to shield her from the backlash that followed.

“He is unable to shield Meghan from the repercussions of her mistake, it cannot be undone,” he opined. “If the average person filmed a video like that, it wouldn’t matter. But every single thing Meghan does is scrutinised, by friend or foe.”

Regardless, Harry and Meghan put on a united front during their latest NYC outing, which saw them receive a joint Humanitarian of the year award. Neither Harry nor Meghan have publicly addressed the Princess Diana controversy.
