Prince Harry Reportedly Wants Royal Family To Reciprocate This Move

Prince Harry’s fallout with the Royal Family may have been swift and catastrophic – as we all are aware of since it was a very public fallout – but healing the rift may take time, and even Prince Harry seems to realize that.

Perhaps that is why he’s chosen to extend an invitation to his family ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games taking place at Birmingham’s NEC. Yup, another olive branch. Perhaps this time, King Charles may deign to answer his calls, do you think?

Prince Harry Hopes Royal Family Will Put Aside Their Differences To Support Veterans At the Upcoming Invictus Games

The Invictus Games are coming to the UK once again after a decade, and Harry is determined to drum up as much attention as he can before the great and marvelous day arrives. And what better way to gain massive attention than by getting royals on the floor?

But, apart from getting people to tune in due to the royals showing up, Harry is also hoping he can get the balls rolling on the reconciliation sources say he now craves.

“Harry has agreed that Invictus should extend an invitation to his family. Invictus hopes the Royal Family will come along to support the wounded veterans taking part. Harry is hopeful his father will set aside their differences to attend the Invictus Games and support veterans. The Royals have always been hugely supportive of Invictus and proud of what Harry has achieved in that arena. This is one olive branch from him which might be reciprocated.”

Responding to the reports, an Invictus Games spokesperson said that it’s all tentative at the moment since many things are yet to be locked down yet. “No formal invitations have been issued as preparations are in the early stages,” they disclosed.

In his chat with the BBC this May, Harry confessed that he’s tired of all the static and would love nothing more than for things with his father and brother to be chill like they used to be. “I would love reconciliation with my family,” he said. “There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”

In the same interview, Harry revealed that his father no longer picks his calls, so maybe an Invictus Games invitation is not all that’s needed to breach the gap between them? Anyway, it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
