Prince Harry Extends This Olive Branch To Royal Family

Prince Harry seems ready to make good on his desire to reconcile with his family after he first made the declaration this May. His words came after a feud that have raged on for years, and if a particular source is to be believed, he’s ready to make a move that might earn him some good points.

Prince Harry To Reportedly Invite His Family To the Summer Invictus Games Taking Place In the UK In 2027

Looking at 2027 from 2025, it looks a bit far doesn’t it?

Well, not for Prince Harry, who reportedly feels that his family needs all the time they can get to clear their schedule so that there are no excuses when the great and marvelous day arrives.

Per a source speaking to The Daily Mail, “Harry has agreed that Invictus should extend an invitation to his family. Invictus hopes the Royal Family will come along to support the wounded veterans taking part.

Harry is hopeful his father will set aside their differences to attend the Invictus Games and support veterans. The Royals have always been hugely supportive of Invictus and proud of what Harry has achieved in that arena. This is one olive branch from him which might be reciprocated.”

Will King Charles Accept Prince Harry’s Olive Branch?

Prince Harry in his BBC interview disclosed that his father has stopped picking his calls. If this is so, then why should we assume that the invite might not be binned the instant it is received?

Weighing in on this, royal expert Ingrid Seward opined: “The King might attend to show support for the Armed Forces and congratulate Harry on the most significant success in his life. The only reason the King is wary of associating with his son is that he no longer trusts him not to repeat their private conversations as he has done in the past. This goes for all the working members of the family.”

More or less agreeing with Seward’s sentiments, Katie Nicholl noted that the King still wants a relationship with his estranged son and grandchildren. “He has an incredible capacity for forgiveness and he wants to be magnanimous in all of this and therefore there’s certainly a possibility that the King might consider attending Invictus.”
