Prince Harry and Meghan Trembling Over Prince William’s Plans For the Monarchy?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may well start enjoying their titles with what little time they have, because if rumors are going to be believed, Prince William is ready to strip them of it when he ascends the throne.

So it’s possible that come the era of King William V, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles will no longer belong to them. Interesting, isn’t it?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “Convinced Their Titles Are On Borrowed Time”

According to an insider, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are convinced that their titles are at risk thanks to Prince William’s ideas about “change” within the Monarchy.

A palace insider said: “William’s been clear in private – when his time comes, things will be very different. He doesn’t intend to be as forgiving as his father has been. Harry and Meghan see that as a warning shot. They’re convinced their titles are on borrowed time.”

This is coming after William revealed that change is on his agenda during one of his most candid interviews to date.

“I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good, and I embrace that, I enjoy that,” he told Eugene Levy on The Reluctant Traveler, adding, “I don’t fear it – that’s the bit that excites me, the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical, but changes that I think need to happen.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are “Genuinely Anxious” Over Prince William’s Future Plans

When you write a book and launch an Instagram page with the title, “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,” it becomes rather mentally taxing to think that the titles which you so casually spot might be taken from you someday.

Speaking on Harry and Meghan’s reaction to this, another insider said, “Harry’s well aware of how unyielding his brother can be.”

“He’s genuinely anxious that William is consolidating power behind the scenes and waiting for the right moment to act. William’s not one to forgive and forget – and Harry knows it.“

Perhaps for this reason, Harry has decided to take the initiative to press for a royal reconciliation whilst his father still lives. Whether he can achieve this is a different matter altogether.
