The Intriguing Excuse To Stay

Royal commentator Neil Sean chatted about the alleged new development on his YouTube channel, Daily News Headlines on Saturday. According to his sources, there’s an intriguing new angle about the royal property drama.

Talking more about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Sean implied that the pair might be using an emotional, and maybe even a planned reason to justify staying at their residence. Notably, he contrasted it with the King’s recent work.

He pointed out the fact that while King Charles III is struggling with his health, he still carries out his essential work. But circumstances seem an “ongoing soap opera…all thanks to his younger brother, Prince Andrew.” So, that made the perfect backdrop for the story about a new excuse to stay at Royal Lodge.

The Late Queen’s Dogs

As royal family fans know, Queen Elizabeth was very fond of her dogs. While she didn’t want the young royals too particularly exposed, videos and photos arrived of her out and about with her pups. After her death, her two corgis, Muick and Sandy went to live with Sarah Ferguson.

Since then, according to Sean, Prince Andrew’s wife became “really, really, very close to them.” Well, it turns out, as Sean suggested, that “both Fergie and Andrew don’t want to take the corgis away from the Windsor grounds because they’d feel lost.”

Additionally, he clarified that the dogs are said to be “very attuned and go to certain places where they went with the late queen.” Actually, it sounds all very heartwarming, but Sean feels that it’s simply a very clever public relations move.

Is The Story Real?

In addition to that, the royal expert cast doubts on its genuineness by saying to his viewers, “will they fall for it? Will they believe it?” Clearly, he thinks it’s all just a ploy. Whether there’s any truth to the tale seems a bit uncertain. Even Sean admitted that it seems a bit odd. He mentioned that but added, “I know, but this is exactly what I’m getting told.”

If the source is correct, then Sean suggested that the furry friends angle could be something of a complication. After all, everyone knows the family seems very affectionate towards animals. He argued that one should keep in mind that “his majesty the king is an animal lover,” as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

So, the alleged use of the corgis as leverage makes the public dilemma pretty tough. The commentator summed up the case by saying, “that is the narrative now being sent out.” Right after that, he amusingly wrapped up by quipping, “Some might say it’s a dog’s life.”

Reactions To The Claim

In the comments section, some folks recalled the Corgi pups. One of them opined, “Oh please. Now they’re using their dogs as the excuse to stay in royal lodge. It’s like saying the dog ate my homework.”

Here are a few more responses from the discussion area:

  • Two corgis don’t need a 30 room house. People, everywhere with dogs, move every day to new locations. Dogs quickly adjust. They care more about who they are with, than where they live.
  • Andrew and Sarah out, the puppies can stay. Problem solved.
  • I’ve had corgis all my life and i have moved all around the country with them. They are a very adaptable dog breed. Shame on Andrew and Fergie for trying to blame it on the dogs!!!!!
