Kody Brown Is Getting Roasted Ahead Of ‘Special Forces’

Sister Wives star Kody Brown stopped posting on social media after Garrison Brown passed away. But now that he’s on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, he’s posting again. For his efforts, the TLC star is getting roasted.

In 2023, Kody Brown posted about him and Meri Brown separating. Then in 2024, he posted about Garrison. And now in 2025, he’s posting on Instagram about his upcoming show, World’s Toughest Test, Season 4. Probably all of the cast members were told to share teasers and previews.

So far this month, three reels went up, which is more posts than in the last two years, and he’s getting heavily roasted. Actually, another person who participated in the show, Gia Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey already cryptically claimed that a certain person that people are “already talking about” was particularly irritating to be with. TLC fans assumed she talked about Kody Brown.

Getting Heavily Roasted

Last season, it was Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules who took the heat from viewers of the challenging Special Forces show. But it seems that this year, it’s Kody that folks will love to hate. The teased preview that he shared on August 19 found a lot of comments regarding his personality and his history.

Could he be the most hated TV star to appear on the show? Certainly, that might be the case. His caption said:

So excited to see this from a third person perspective. Right now it seems like it was a dream.

Well, he might be excited about seeing it on his own screen, but critics slammed him for what they already saw of him on reality TV.

Long Memories

One particular subject that kept arising was when fans recalled that he wouldn’t go with his teen daughter, Ysabel, when she needed back surgery. In fact, he expected her to travel alone. In the comments, many people slammed him for that.

One person wrote, “Couldn’t go to his daughter’s surgery because he couldn’t leave his tenders. But yet goes to his friend’s wedding and goes on a reality show. You don’t deserve to have children.”

More critics slammed him about his drama when he thought he was going to die from COVID. A comment read, “This is the guy who had a 99-degree temperature and said he almost died from COVID! AHAHAHAHAHA.”

Meanwhile, searing comments arrived from the time he claimed that Christine Brown leaving him was “a knife to the kidney.” A fan with a long memory slammed him, asking, “So your kidney is healed?”

A Few Supporters

A few folks are prepared to give Kody Brown a chance at redemption, but they are few and far between. One of them wrote, “Good for you, Kody!! Try to drown out the hate, I for one am excited to see ya on the show! Good on ya for getting out there and doing it.”

However, others claim they dislike the former polygamist so much that they will not be tuning in to watch Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Season 4.
