GH Spoilers Wednesday, April 22: Bad Ideas, Action Needed, Best Friends Clash!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 22 tease bad ideas, action needed, and best friends clash!

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) defends herself in the midst of someone’s bad idea, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) says there’s action needed, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) clash! (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Bad Ideas

Laura is in the midst of an argument with someone, sitting behind her desk in the Port Charles Mayor’s Office; she’s angry as she tells the person their idea is a bad one.

She tells them that driving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), they could be inviting somebody much worse!

She’s likely having this argument with someone who wants the Esplanade on Sonny’s piers where his Corinthos Coffee warehouse is.

It’s possible she could be arguing with a councilman or someone else in Port Charles’ city government.

She is still fighting the battle of trying to fix what Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) tried hard to break-namely, her reputation!

Tracy Makes An Offer

Elsewhere, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is with Boyle, although they appear to be somewhere meeting for lunch, it’s not a pleasant meeting.

Boyle, of course is the one who spearheaded trying to demolish the Quartermaine crypt, so he’s already not one of Tracy’s favorite people!

He is gruff as he pushes his agenda, and asks her if she’s willing to put her money where her mouth is-and apparently she makes an offer.

Question is, is he setting her up to get caught trying to bribe him-if so, he should not have spoken first! He might just be the one who the tables are turned on, not Tracy!

Action Needed

In the meantime, Portia and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are at the Metro Court, discussing some important business over a table.

Nina listens intently as Portia tells her the simplest  way to drive them apart is to tell her-it sounds like she’s suggesting Nina tell Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) something.

It seems to be common knowledge-except to Willow-that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was having an affair with her mother prior to going after her!

That is the one thing that Nina has been holding off on; telling her daughter her boyfriend was two-timing both of them at the same time!  But to break up Willow and Drew, that may become necessary, even at the risk of losing  their hard fought for mother and daughter relationship.

Best Friends Clash

At Carly’s house, she and Jason clash-as Jason tells her that Willow is going to Germany to see Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell).

Carly of course will worry what Willow is going to do or say to her son, concerned that she may even bring Michael harm!

\She doesn’t trust Willow at all anymore and is fighting to get her grandchildren out of her influence.

Carly will likely be really upset finding out it was all Jason’s idea, and he was the one to tell her it needed to be done.

Drew’s Reaction Will Surprise Willow

Back at Drew and Willow’s house, Drew’s reaction will surprise Willow, as she tells him there is still one person she needs to face!

Of course that is Michael, who is still her husband, in order to, as Jason suggested, “end this war once and for all, face to face”.

Will Drew be angry or possibly insecure over his and Willow’s relationship, or will he be okay with it?

Willow did sign that guardianship paperwork that Drew had drawn up-without even reading it first. Will she regret her blissful ignorance and gullibility in signing those legal papers?
