General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, April 22 tease important questions, tough love, and ending a war.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asks important questions, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) gives some tough love, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wants to end a war!
Important Questions
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) confides in Curtis, likely about the risky operation that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) insists on having.
Curtis asks her if that’s something she can do, possibly referring to living with herself if she can’t stop Kai and something going terribly wrong.
The operation is barely past the experimental stage, but then so was Curtis’ and it made him walk again-but there wasn’t the bad track record like this one has.
Portia had advised Kai against it and Trina and Kai had a rather tense discussion about it at lunch one day. So now she’s talking to Curtis about what she should do.
Alexis Wants Diane To Leave It Alone
Elsewhere, an upset Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is talking to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in their law office, where she tells Diane the best option is to leave it alone.
Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had been in to try and convince her to go through with hiring his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
Diane had been ready to fire him when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) told her about Sidwell being his father, but Sonny had a better idea.
But is Alexis talking about Marco, or about her own daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and the judicial commitment Diane wanted her to do? As upset as Alexis is, who couldn’t go through with signing Kristina into a psych ward, it seems she might be referring to that!

Tough Love
In the meantime, Kristina is talking with Lucky at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house, giving her some tough love.
Lucky had covered up Kristina’s cutting Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) brake lines and told her to go to Charlie’s the night of the wreck and say she’d been doing inventory.
However, that was before he found out Elizabeth was in the car with Ric, and although she’ll be okay, her leg was broken badly.
Kristina’s emotional as she says the only way she can free herself is to confess-but there’s one important question here. Is it her idea, or is it Lucky’s?
Kai Updates Drew
Elsewhere, Kai is updating Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about the experimental surgery he told Trina he was going to have, and that Drew set up and is paying for.
He asks Drew if he thinks it’s a good idea he’s in-might Kai be having a couple of doubts about the procedure after all?
Drew will no doubt encourage him to go through with the operation, and as for the Kai being “in” that’s probably referring to the operation being done. Kai has also been pegged by Drew to be a spokesman for children’s health which he was definitely up for.

Planning And Plotting
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is talking to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and asking if she’s in agreement on their plans.
Both of them had previously agreed that they didn’t want their mutual grandchildren raised by Drew if something happens to Willow. They’d also agreed that they didn’t like them living with Willow and Drew who’ve moved in together.
They were hoping to come up with a plan to get through Willow’s thick head what Drew really is and what he is doing.
Question is, what plans have they come up with and what are they plotting to do; Carly winds up betraying an ally.

Ending A War
In the meantime, Willow is being talked to by Jason, and he tells her they, likely referring to himself and her, need to face him and end this war once and for all.
The weekly promo showed Willow saying she needs to face her husband, so it’s likely the “him” Jason refers to is Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell). However, with Jason referring to wanting to end a war, perhaps he’s talking about Drew!
Willow is seeking some kind of help from Jason, and those are his thoughts-there’s definitely been a war between Drew and Jason! It should be interesting to see how this all shakes out!

It’s Me, I’m Back!
Elsewhere, at the hospital Ava Jerome (Maura West) strolls into a hospital room announcing “Ava Jerome” is back!
It’s likely Ric’s room since he has not yet been released, and it sounds like “good Ava”-if she ever truly was reformed’ is gone and “bad Ava” is back!
“Bad Ava” stole her grown daughter’s boyfriends and messed with Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) bipolar medication, and it was a factor in his death.
What exactly has the on again off again vixen have in mind this time? What’s the plot she’s getting ready to execute-more blackmail with the video of Kristina cutting Ric’s brake lines?
