GH Spoilers Thursday, April 24: Emergency Room Buddies, Shocking Warnings, Watching & Waiting

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 24 tease emergency room buddies, shocking warnings, and watching and waiting.

Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) waits in the ER with a buddy, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) delivers a shocking warning, and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) watch and wait.

Emergency Room Buddies

At GH, Brook Lynn is waiting in the ER with Cody Bell, (Josh Kelly) who needs medical attention.

It looks like she may have had to bring him to the hospital, and he’s not hurt badly enough to need an ambulance, but badly enough to not be able to drive. Brook Lynn is supportive, asking Cody why would she be annoyed with him? (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Accidents happen, and she was surely glad to help the Quartermaine stable manager. It’s probably a good thing she was there when he needed a hand.

Shocking Warning

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is blindsided when Molly visits him in the hospital with a shocking warning. It’s clear Molly doesn’t approve of him being involved with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

She glares at her father as he asks in disbelief, “If Ava’s in my life, then you’re not going to be?”

Molly regards Ava as an enemy, likely blaming her for the loss of the baby she and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) were going to adopt.

She’s also not keen about Ava’s association with a mob family, however tenuous it may be-she’s the only survivor of the Jerome siblings.

Second Chances

In the meantime, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is in the law office of Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Taking Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) suggestion into consideration, it looks like Marco is being given a second chance for his job with the firm.

It looks like there are some strict stipulations, however, as Diane eyeballs him and says “there’s one thing we have to get abundantly clear”.

Marco will just be happy he can stay in Port Charles and be close to his mother, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) and father, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). But especially he’s happy he can have a chance with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis)!

Lucas Talks To Lulu Spencer

Speaking of Lucas, he’s talking to his adoptive relative Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening)  and says he’s glad his late biological father, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) came back into his life.

Lulu is probably asking him these questions in the context of Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son being adopted, and perhaps wanting to track him down.

So far, Lulu has kept her promise to Brook Lynn about not telling Dante about her teenage pregnancy. 

But one could tell she had her suspicions about Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) when she saw him at a recent gathering. Her investigative reporter skills are definitely kicking in!

Talking About Family

In the meanwhile, Dante is with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) talking about family, and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is the subject of their conversation.

Dante tells Kristina that Danny needs his family, especially now-with his little sister Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante) separated from him.

She is still in town, but her father Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and she could no longer stay in the Quartermaine mansion, thanks to Drew making such a problem of himself.

Dante had hoped after Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death that Rocco Falconeri, (Finn Carr) Danny and Scout could all stay together in the Quartermaine mansion. But at least Rocco has his mother back; it’s not that way for Danny and Scout-they need each other.

Danny Opens Up To Jason

Elsewhere, Danny opens up to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about missing his mother. Jason tells him whatever he needs, he’s there.

Danny and Scout both went through their fathers missing and presumed dead, and both of them turning out to be alive-Jason, twice.

Jason can’t make up for the loss of Sam, but he wants to be a good father to Danny and he does his best. He doesn’t want to be an absentee father, that’s one reason he turned down WSB offers and wanted out of his bind with the FBI.

Watching And Waiting

In Los Angeles, Brick and Carly are watching and waiting as Sonny is prepared for his open heart surgery.

Brick tells Carly that to know Carly has Sonny’s back is the best news he’s heard. Sonny has been putting off this mandatory surgery much too long, he’s collapsed a couple of times since his diagnosis.

The problem seems to stem from a long-ago shooting injury near Sonny’s heart and it’s affecting how it beats, causing atrial fibrillation.

Apparently it’s much more serious than just having a pacemaker put in, although it’s possible that will be needed as well.
