GH Spoilers: Sonny vs Tracy – The Battle for Gio After the Grandson Secret Explodes

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the time has come for the Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) secret to come out.

As the chips fall in the aftermath, will knowing that they share a grandson help bond Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), or will it simply add fuel to the fire when it comes to their war?

Tracy Quartermaine Is Determined

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that after the Tuesday, May 13 episode, Tracy is more determined than ever to run Sonny out of town.

She had asked Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to find her grandson (not realizing he’s under her nose), adding a bonus to the request: if he agreed to help her, she’d let her vendetta go against Sonny.

Jason declined the offer, and Tracy wasn’t too pleased. It feels as if the animosity that Tracy holds for Sonny will only heighten once they find out about Gio. Tracy will immediately open her arms to the young man when the truth comes out.

After all, she admires Gio as it is, and their pre-secret-reveal will all now make sense to Tracy, as Gio is a Quartermaine; he gets his talent, smarts, integrity, and passion from his Q genes.

She’ll realize the bond they have is surpasses any other closeness she shares with family members (after all, she liked him before he was a Q, and Tracy doesn’t easily like anyone!)
With that said, she’ll be that much more desperate to protect Gio from his grandfather.

Tracy Goes To The Extreme

How far will Tracy go to bring Sonny down? After all, once she finds out Gio is Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) long-lost son, she’ll be even more determined to rid Port Charles of the mob boss.

Will she set Sonny up? Take a page from the book of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and try to drug Sonny into a scandal, hoping the town referendum goes her way?

Tracy will double down on her efforts; however, the entire situation may end up causing Gio to pull away.
