General Hospital Twist: Peter August Lied About Britt’s Huntington’s Disease

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dr. Britt Westbourne could be very much alive. But there are two questions that need to be answered in order to explain this.

The first is did she somehow survive being poisoned by the snake venom used on the hook that grazed her when “The Hook” aka Heather Webber (last played by Alley Mills) attacked her.

Also, did she really have Huntington’s Disease? There is a possibility that the test results were incorrect, and that Britt actually did not have the disease.

While it is safe to assume that if Britt is in fact still alive, that her mother Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is somehow involved in this, and she could have saved her. Let’s get back to those test results though…

Britt Westbourne Never Had Huntington’s Disease

It is very possible that Britt never actually had the gene from her biological father, Cesar Faison (last played by Anders Hove) for Huntington’s Disease.

Britt got tested because she had started to believe that she was having symptoms, and her worst fears were confirmed when she got the test results.

However, it is possible that Britt’s symptoms were psychosomatic, even before she actually had the test done. Britt’s brain was playing tricks on her making her believe that she did actually have Huntington’s Disease when in fact she did not.

The Test Results Were Switched

The GH lab is known for its screws up, so it is very possible that Britt got the wrong test results, and that the results were incorrect.

It is an even larger possibility that someone switched the test results out of revenge, or to mess with Britt’s head.

There is somehow sinister enough to do that, and it could be her very own half-brother, Peter August (last played by Wes Ramsey)!

Peter August Doctored Britt Westbourne’s Results To Mess With Her

Peter was up to no good in Port Charles during the time that Britt had her tests done, and no one would put it past him to have doctored these results, in order to mess with his half-sister.

Peter could have been jealous of Britt for some reason, perhaps because she was spared from being raised by their father, Faison, who mistreated Peter to no end, and gave him a horrible upbringing.

This is certainly possible, as Peter is very capable of switching test results, and would love to mess with Britt’s head. This could have been part of a master plan that he never got to finish because he did in fact die.
