EastEnders spoilers for the week of June 9 tease toxic influences, marriage questions, shocking moves and grand gestures!

Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray) toxic influence continues, Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) marriage is a question, Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) makes a shocking move and Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) a grand gesture.

Joel’s Toxic Influence Continues

Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) is upset when Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) tells her no one wants to be friends with Joel, having embarrassed Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) for sleeping with him.

Now, Avani is receiving hurtful messages from their classmates-Vicki informs Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) about what she found out, and they both agree that Joel needs more positive male influences.

Later, Vicki and Ross feel relieved to see Joel positively impacting Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) with his wedding speech, and they hope this friendship will benefit Joel.

Joel invites Tommy to his house after the wedding and later shows him a video from a social media influencer who makes negative comments about women.

As Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie start to understand what Tommy has been doing recently, the week spirals into more drama.

Kat And Alfie’s Marriage A Question

Tommy’s parents, Kat and Alfie, are set to marry for the third time. However, with a new revelation about Tommy, will they actually say ‘I do’?

Meanwhile, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) encounters some wedding preparations issues, while Kat remains convinced the explicit video found on Alfie’s laptop is his doing, not knowing it was bought by Tommy.

Kat shares her worries with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), expressing her concern that Alfie has turned to adult films since their intimacy has decreased after his cancer treatment.

Alfie prepares a romantic dinner, and Kat comes in ready to seduce him; Alfie is surprised and wants to take things slow, which causes Kat to leave in anger. Jean encourages her to have a proper conversation with Alfie, and Patrick gives Alfie the same suggestion.

Can Kat And Alfie Work It Out?

Kat and Alfie have an open discussion about their problems, but when Kat brings up the video, Alfie is puzzled – until he realizes it was Tommy who had seen it. The wedding day comes, but Kat and Alfie worry about Tommy, which puts a damper on the celebrations.

Alfie vows to speak with Tommy, but a string of accidents pulls his attention away; he confesses that he has messed up several wedding preparations, Kat reconsiders- the wedding is off!

Alfie feels heartbroken and furious, while Kat, Elaine, and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) enjoy a drink and discuss their romantic situations.

Elaine makes the others think twice, while Alfie receives encouragement from an unexpected person; Alfie and Kat get together to discuss, but will the wedding still happen after all?

Elaine’s Shocking Move

Elaine makes a shocking decision after seeing her husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) sharing a tender moment with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

Tensions rise at The Queen Vic as Elaine broods over George assisting Cindy with The Albert; the mood lightens when Elaine surprises George with a gift to celebrate his boxing career.

But then Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) bursts in and discloses that George visited his mother, ex-wife Sabrina Knight (uncast), on Christmas night.

George confesses that Sabrina kissed him, but he insists he turned her down-Elaine is heartbroken that he has lied once more and kicks George out. George searches for Junior but encounters Cindy, who offers him comfort.

Elaine Is ‘Rescued’ By Drew Peacock

When Elaine seeks out George and spots him embracing Cindy on the Albert balcony, she pulls back.

Upon her return to The Albert, Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) informs her that George and Cindy departed together, appearing quite comfortable. Elaine makes a phone call and engages in conversation with a harasser named Stephen (uncredited).

Just then, her rescuer appears – Drew Peacock (Paul Clayton), the boyfriend of her late first husband, John.

Drew dismisses Stephen and offers Elaine some encouraging words, which she takes to heart, leading her to make a surprising decision; what action does Elaine take?

Patrick’s Grand Gesture

Yolande feels hurt when Patrick finds reasons to avoid giving her a massage, fearing his reasons are really only excuses for avoidance.

She shares her worries with Denise Fox (Diane Parish), expressing her fears that her relationship with Patrick may never return to what it was.

Denise offers her support to both Yolande and Patrick during this challenging time, and eventually, Patrick makes a bold move to win Yolande back. Will Yolande be swayed by his efforts, or will they come across as insincere?
