Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Vanessa Is Pregnant! Is The Father Doug Or Diego?

Beyond The Gates spoilers indicate that Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) is a woman who steps out on her husband, Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham).

Recently, Vanessa rekindled her sex life with her husband, while she was carrying on with her Fairmount Crest personal trainer, Diego Sanchez (Carlos Enrique Palacio).

Vanessa, who already has twins that are away at college with Doug, may be in for a surprise. A mid-life pregnancy that she never anticipated! But the baby may not be Doug’s!

Vanessa McBride Starts To Feel Weak And Tired

Vanessa works hard as a real estate agent, and may start to feel rundown, weak and tired a lot. She may think that she just needs to slow down and take it easy.

Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) could point out that Vanessa needs some R&R and then Vanessa collapses in his arms. Joey takes Vanessa to the hospital.

Vanessa McBride’s Hospitalization Sets The Stage For A Confrontation Between Joey Armstrong and Doug McBride

Vanessa was recently hospitalized for food poisoning and she may think that she is still having symptoms of that. She could also attribute her weakness to overworking.

The doctor does an examination, and takes some blood work. Doug comes in to check on his wife to make sure she is alright and is shocked to see Joey with her. Doug would ask Joey to speak with him outside, and Joey would agree.

Doug then would threaten Joey and tell him to stay away from his wife, which Joey does not take too kindly to.

Vanessa McBride Learns That She Is Pregnant

Meanwhile, Vanessa is waiting for the doctor to return. The doctor arrives and gives Vanessa the shocking news- that she is pregnant! Vanessa would be confused at first, and deny that she actually is pregnant.

The doctor insists that the bloodwork is accurate and that is indeed pregnant. She is about a month along, and it is really early. Vanessa would feel conflicted, and not sure how to feel.

Vanessa McBride Realizes That Doug McBride or Diego Sanchez Could Be The Father

Vanessa would soon come to the startling realization that the father of her baby could be Doug or Diego, as she has slept with both of them in the last month. It would put her in quite a pickle, and she may not know how to proceed.

She would probably prefer that Doug is the father, since Diego is younger, and may not be responsible in her eyes. However, Diego is possessive of Vanessa, so if he is the father, this could worsen.

Vanessa may have a decision to make about her pregnancy at this point as she may not want a child at this point in her life.
