Y&R spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that Mariah and Tessa’s relationship as well as parenting journey has already resulted in several challenges.

However, the couple has faced them all head-on and have overcome them. Next, Tessa and Mariah will become concerned about baby Aria Porter-Copeland’s (Maddie and Millie Ingle) hearing. It is confirmed in Soap Opera Digest magazine that Aria is deaf.

Mariah and Tessa aren’t the only parents to face a parenting challenge during the week of August 21.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are going through a parenting crisis of their own with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

It is teased that Chelsea and Adam will make a tough decision. Will Egan’s maternity leave exit revolve around Connor wanting to stay with his grandmother for a while?

During the week of August 21, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) feels hurt when she notices Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) together.

However, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) also feels hurt when she sees Daniel put his hand over Heather’s. So, this could set up a love triangle for Daniel, especially with Heather staying in Genoa City for a bit.
