The Young And The Restless: Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) flew into Genoa City, Wisconsin, for the arbitration hearing. But she was sidetracked by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). No, there was no romantic interlude, as might have been true in years past. Instead, Jill and Victor met for strictly business reasons.

The Moustache proposed being a private investor to help Chancellor-Winters obtain the cash infusion it wanted and thereby avoid the contentious Initial Public Offering that divided Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and her brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

But Jill’s late entrance to the arbitration hearing and later tell to Lily and Devon did not bring about the result she felt was certain.

Victor always has an angle. This time it involves Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Jill was told that family is important. She accepted Victor’s story, while also knowing he sensed a profit opportunity.

However, Victor did not volunteer that he wants to keep Devon invested with Chancellor-Winters so James’ character turns away from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Victor intends to purchase McCall Unlimited and have Adam run it. That will not happen if Devon accepts Tucker’s offer to buy it so they could work together.

Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Was Not Trying To Be Harsh

Yes, Lily hired Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) because she wanted to play an emotional card. Lily knew that Amanda’s presence would push Devon’s buttons at the arbitration hearing and that edge might convince the arbitrator to rule in CW’s favor because Devon would look irrational.

But long before this conflict required the need of an arbitrator, Lily did nothing wrong. She knew Devon wanted to work together. That is why he initially agreed to merge Hamilton-Winters with Chancellor Industries.

Then, after Devon balked at Jill’s suggestion of an IPO, Lily developed the lucrative buyout offer that would have allowed her brother to keep his company’s name. But Devon did not like that option either.

Devon’s stated goal was to keep CW together. So, Jill said the IPO would be off the table, and Devon rejected that as well?

Lily is right about Devon believing his feelings about their parents matter more than hers or others. But he can not see that his sister did not betray Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) legacy or the spirit of the initial agreement that created CW.

Viewers are now wondering if buying his biological father’s company will become the realized safety net that Devon needs on Y&R.
